Gave a tiny increase this morning since she needed one but I’ve been hesitant to give it with her GI episode on Friday night. I was afraid of her not wanting to eat if she went lower with a bump up.
Yesterday she slept the day away, healing from a bad overnight of puking and diarrhea

She seems to be back to herself today. She’s eating well and finally pooped this afternoon (1.5 days after the episode).
I was slightly concerned, but assume she needed to build up her poop again. So relieved
it was 98% normal

Now we just need her to remain stable. Still giving her Cobalaquin tablets daily. Not sure if we should give anothry b12 shot this Thursday (she’s had 6 shots already over 6 weeks).

I’m nervous to not give the shot since she seems to really need it to keep her stable with the GI upset.

I will try to speak with the vet to hear what he thinks.

I think I will try to wean her off the ondansetron again since she seems to feel better. Still giving Cerenia and Mirataz.

What a blessing, Staci. I hope she can continue stable and that you can rest a bit! Her body was adjusting itself during the gap without pooping, maybe, which is great...

I also hope the vet can find a good strategy for the B12 shot, together with you. And that you can feel more relaxed about it. I can imagine how you feel... Sending you my wishes for it to be sorted out the best way possible.

I’m glad both Ivy and Mami Cat had a better day today
So happy the poops have stabilized and now we need to figure out the B12 situation.
It’s a lot to try to understand and try to remedy.
