All P's in place and second breffis has been eaten and he still thinks he is starving he was very active last night Oh I just looked up from laptop and we have a Mother deer and twins walking thru the yard :mrgreen: :mrgreen: how sweet wish they would have stopped to get a pic Ok back to cat report he just would not leave me alone kept wanting food or beating on the one and only door I do not have a scat mat at going to have to buy another one of those Do Lou is just terrible about door beating.

Voodoo is about the same as yesterday I can see its going to take longer for him to bounce back he is eating better but he is just not himself at all just quiet and sleeps not at all his Voodoo self.

Nice amps for Do Lou, and down to the blue floor, good boy. He's a handful today, huh? Stop beating at the door, DL, not nice manners!

Have the baby deer lost their spots yet, Lisa? I see them around here fairly often and their spots are almost gone now. We saw a 4 point buck the other day with the velvet on his antlers...stood by the side of the road like a statue, so pretty!

I hope Voodoo perks up soon, maybe he needs extra sleep to get his energy back....glad he's eating anyway!

Yes their spots were gone but they were still small :-D

Nice progression into the blues this morning Do Lou! :razz: I hope Voodoo will perk up soon but maybe the sleep is giving him lots of good healing time...how is your newcomer doing lately?

Nice on the deer! How cute. On my last hike, as I was approaching the trailhead, I saw a deer - just stood in front of my car - watching. very nice.

Very nice numbers for Do Lou today - so nice to see. Too funny on the door beating - well maybe not. Hey Do Lou - keep those blues coming!

I'm glad Do Lou is coming down for you today. Does he beat on the doors like Stu because their closed? Nice report on the deer too. We just don't seem them as often as we used to.

Sending more healing vines to Voodoo. I hope he's his old self soon.

well I am still worried about my Voodoo he is eating but just not acting well at all I think I will call the vet in the morning and have a talk maybe its just going to take more time at least he is eating so I know thats a good thing I just wish he would show some sign of a wee bit of pep

My son sent this link to me on FB its a Mother cat that adopted a baby squirrel and it has learned how to purr its really cute so wanted to share :mrgreen:

omg that is SO adorable! What a great video. The mama cat looks just like my Sam, Muffin's mother. Amazing that the squirrel purrs! DL looking good today, hope Voodoo feels better soon or the vet is helpful.

I found a baby squirrel, barely moving and sopping wet, after a storm last year. I took it to the wildlife rehabilitation center. I often wonder how he is doing, and if he somehow learned to be a "normal" squirrel, when he was released.

I hope after the eating and the rest today, that Voodoo is feeling better, with more pep in his step, tomorrow.

No Ann his CBC showed he is fighting some kind of infection and even with him eating I am wondering if I am going to have to go back in he is on baytril since thursday night now and I just thought to see him more like himself by now he is just still so quiet and pitiful acting you can tell he still feels bad :sad: :sad: So Bean is still very worried about her Voodoo

Hi Lisa, Voodoo probably needs his rest to get over whatever kind of infection it is. It can take a while to get over an infection. He'll surely feel better soon and it's good that he is eating again. Sending more healing vines and snowflakes to the little guy.
Do Lou looks great today. He and Stu both love to pound on doors, it seems. Stu hasn't pounded all summer because all the porch doors have been open. But now that it's colder, and we are closing the doors at night, he has resumed his long-time habit.
Amazing video of the momcat and the squirrel.
Stu's already at the party, cooking, and I think Do Lou is there too, helping in the kitchen. You have a good night and give that Voodoo some scritches for us.
