9/11 Shasta

WCR: All Ps in place. Appy is still good this morning. Even though she's sitting just underneath the pinks, I gave her 8% Chicken & Tuna because she likes it so much!! No snuggles last night but I think I pissed her off last night. I had an unpleasant debate/argument last night on Facebook with my brother. As I was trying to formulate my responses, she kept trying to sit on my lap and sit on the laptop. So, I had to keep moving her and she was really not happy with me. OH...here's a fun story...as I was sitting on my couch, watching a lovely 9/11 tribute video, I caught a glimpse of something crawling up my little pony tail palm tree outside of my living room window. Naturally, I assumed it was a squirrel (at worst, I thought it was a rat)...but lo and behold...it was a kitten!!!!!!!!!!!! Shasta happened to notice it, too, and slowly rose from her resting spot to slink over to the window. Kitty ran away. :sad: I texted my friend/landlady and she brought over her cat trap. I've been checking on the trap all night and this morning...nothing. :sad: :sad: :sad: It was a young kitten and I'm so worried that the hawks will get it or it will try to cross the road. nailbite_smile Come on, kitty...get caught by my trap...you'll be happy you did!! Oh yeah, and bring the rest of your family, please.

I'm glad Shasta has a good appy this morning. Repeatedly moving the kitty from where she wants to be will definitely make her mad. I hope she's not mad at you this morning. I hope you can catch the kitten and it's okay.

Yay for a good appy!! Ah, I love FB arguments :roll: ...I have to bite my tongue sometimes because otherwise my blood gets flowing and I end up wasting too much time.

Oh my goodness on the baby kitty...I hope s/he comes back with his/her family and all are safe.

O boy. I can so relate to the "get out of here cat, I'm trying to type." Polly's not much of a lap cat (but yikes is that changing!) and I'd feel so guilty whenever I had to elbow her away from the keyboard. Usually that action is followed by "ohhhhh, Polly. I'm sorry. Come here, it's o.k." To which, of course, I see the tail end of the cat flag me and walk away. Yup, she can do guilt-tripping really well.

Luck to you with the climbing kitty. Hope mama and any mates are nearby, safe, and easily trapped.
