Hi Everyone,

It was a beautiful day today and a group of us hiked up Floodwood Mountain, a small mountain with big views. The fall color is getting into full swing and it looks like it will peak early this year. The reds of the swamp maples are especially vivid.

Rusty and Edward spent the day at home and had some good outdoor time. Rusty ate pretty well (he is still liking the RAWZ chicken and RAWZ turkey); I'm out of the Instinct duck, but will get some tomorrow. If he still likes it I may order a case from Chewy. (RAWZ is only available through independent retailers).

I think Hurricane Irma may have held up my package from ADW (which is based in Florida). I haven't gotten a shipping notice, so have to assume that it is still there. Fortunately I have enough strips to last a while.

Off now to hold Rusty's dinner bowl. Hope all is well in L&LL,
 
Yea Rusty on liking your foodies! And how great that you got out to the color country. Miss that about the midwest but an hour or so north of here I can catch the Aspen gold up on Cedar Mountain. Hmmm. Might take a day trip up there on a day off pretty soon.

I've been caught short on the Arkray strips from ADW, but Walmart bailed me out with two day shipping on Relion Confirm strips. Same thing. The strips are even still labeled with the "Arkray" brand.

My strips were supposed to be here Monday, but have had a hurricane alert since last Friday or Saturday. There have been no updates since. :( This is my second order from ADW and I have had shipping issues with both. :banghead: Hopefully they will be here soon. I hate the feeling of being low on strips.
 
I just tracked the package. It shipped USPS so heaven knows when it will get here. I hate USPS.

Your shipment has been potentially delayed due to weather conditions at 5:01 pm on September 13, 2017 in POMPANO BEACH, FL 33069.

It looks like your shipment was already in transit (somewhere) when the hurricane hit. I received my shipping notification just this afternoon, so I know that my order was shipped today. I'm sure you'll get your order soon. ADW is normally very reliable. I have never had a problem with them in the 7 years I've been ordering from them.
Good luck in getting your supplies very soon.

Yes, that is what happened. It wasn't ADW's fault either time. They were very helpful with the last shipment when usps lost the package/didn't update tracking ... not really sure what happened.
