Yesterday, typical blue to yellow to blue to green overnight.

No recap today. I am in the ferry line up again. DM called this morning saying she fell and hurt the other side. :roll: so am picking her up to come into town for x-rays.

Neko was a happy little girl this morning. Wanted tummy rubs at rowing wake up time, lots of purrs during acupressure. 5 P's and CPC, seems back to normal. DH in charge today.

Oh no! Sending healing vines for your DM. I hope she didn't do too much damage and isn't in a lot of pain. How wonderful that you can go and help her. I'll add her to my LL prayer list.

Nice start today, Neko. Now surf pretty for Daddybean while Mamabean is gone, okay? :mrgreen: cat_pet_icon

Hi Wendy! Ack on your mom:( I hope that it turns out ok and she feels better soon. It's scary when our loved ones hurt themselves!

Neko looks very beautiful today. I hope she does a nice surf for you and DH. I love the image of a kitty wanting tummy rubs:) :) Have a good one, Wendy. Safe travels with your DM. And hugs to you all!

Yikes, when it rains it pours. I am so sorry your mom took another fall. I hope nothing is broken this time. We have been dealing with falls for years now and I know how stressful and painful it can be for all concerned. Prayers and healing vines are being sent her way and for you too.

p.s. The radiators are not on! It's only mid September!!! Planning for the NYC activities will take place on the front porch or in the mud-room, so that the rodents and birds can provide entertainment.
 
Neko was a good girl, but DH is out of practice with the poking. He had some difficulties at +9 so put her down and tried again later. At PS he forgot to check that there were more strips in the test kit, poked, got E-7 and had to put her down again. No way he could pick her up and try again without feeding. Neko is so bound by tradition - food must follow evening pokes.

DM has broken her pelvis, this time on the left side, mirror image to the breaks on the right side she did two months ago. She had been starting to feel good and overdid it in the garden when she was tired and tripped on uneven ground. It didn't take too long in emerg today, got X-rays, got discharged and I got her back on the island, just making the ferry back. I guess I'll be visiting more frequently again the next little while.

@Tricia, Rachel, Elise, Carla, Mariko, Ella - Thanks for keeping Neko company while I was gone. What with getting up at 4:40 for rowing, this bean is beat. Looks like Neko is zooming up and I'll be able to hit the pillow soon. Hardest part for DM is getting up and down the 3 stairs from the house to my car. She has to relearn how to redo things with a different "good" support leg.
 
I'm glad your mom us home. My mom's first break was a pelvic one also while taking out trash. I'm glad Neko was okay as well. I know how exhausted you must be.
