I gave Max. Few drops less as I don't want a repeat of last night today. I have a one year old birthday party for my brother's grandson late this afternoon. I doubt my mom will be up to it but if we have help I need to go. It's from 4-6 so I might be late for Max's insulin but hopefully not too late as I don't want to be up most of the night.

Prayers and vines to all in need with the usual extras for Tricia's crew, Marje's DM, and anyone else in need.
 
Thanks for all the prayers and vines. Not a good day. My mom was very quiet and I couldn't engage her in much conversation. She's so frail and tired. It looks like they can't add the med. We will find out for sure Wednesday.

To top it off the caregiver came but informed my sister she would no longer work nights and is leaving at 8:00 This was the last straw. We are interviewing someone on Monday. Only problem is she has a two month baby and another child. She supposedly is willing to work weekends. The current CG didn't say two words to me all afternoon. She heard my sister arrange to meet the CG. I bet she decides not to work tomorrow either. She has three kids at home and no other job. I just don't get it.
 
Oh Elise, that is so hard for you. I just don't understand people like that.
I hope the new CG works out better for you all.
So sorry your Mum is so frail and tired.

Elise, so sorry to hear about your CG troubles!! Sounds like she might have a "better offer" out there, but it's a really crummy thing to just "announce" it and not give families time to make other arrangements.

Sending lots of hugs and wish I could send you mom's CG too :bighug::bighug::bighug:
 
As hard as it is for me it is worse for my sister. Thanks Bron and Chris. The strange thing is I don't think she has any offers. She seemed really upset that my sister was looking for a replacement. She thinks it's fine for her to just work days. Especially now it's hard to be alone, sigh.
 
Sending love and light to you and your sister and your mom! And hoping the right caregiver comes in for you soon. It is not easy I am sure! Glad Max is a little higher to start at least tonight - and hoping you get a good nights sleep! His numbers look so good- so glad he is doing so well :)
