I made an appointment at the vet for Monday. I weighed her this morning and she was 10.6lbs, shed lost about 13 oz since her teeth cleaning on 8/13 when she was 11.4, although that same weight was listed on an invoice in July, so they may not have updated it. She was 10.8 in May. I think I remember weighing her a few times at home, but didnt right it down and she was still around 11.4. I think once she weighed at 11.7 in that period. So shes definitely lost weight.
Last night and this morning she had some bile throw up, This morning is was blood tinged.
I wonder if something else is going on again with her.
I do have to admit that I probably shouldnt have changed the syringes so close to changing the dose. She could be bouncing because of that or its just because of all the greens 4 days ago or something else is happening. That 532 last night was awful and I could tell she didnt feel well. She threw up around that time.
Im concerned it appears to be going up again, although I think +4 is actually onset for Levemir, so I'll test again at +5.
Will I ever get this right??? Im starting to doubt I will.

Please don’t be hard on yourself, Jo. You do such a great job with her care!
This is all so hard and we are just trying desperately to figure out what to best do.
And you have more knowledge than most people do.
It just goes to show how difficult it all is to manage so many things at once

You do such an amazing job with Karamelle, Jo. Karamelle’s curves are especially unpredictable and make sleep / going out difficult, and yet you manage it with so much grace. And you also have your own health to consider as well. Please don’t be hard on yourself.

Oh, Jo! As others have mentioned, please don't be so hard on yourself. You are doing your absolute best, and doing very well at your absolute best. Karamelle is clearly just a difficult cat to control, God love her. I know that this must be maddening for you, though. I hope that you learn something from the vet visit this week. I remember you and Marje talking about a switch to Lantus. Is that still something you are considering. I'm not sure if it would make a difference, but sometimes insulin changes do. Please just know that we are all right here supporting you, and you are doing a good job--Karamelle is so fortunate to have you in her corner.

You ARE getting this right! You noticed she's losing weight, you made the vet appointment, and you're taking care of her so well! She has a lot going on and it's very overwhelming but she is very lucky to have you advocating for her and loving her.
