Good Evening LL ;-)
We are a little late to the party today  Just been one of those days  And of course Hoot decides to dive when I have to leave to the Dr this morning. I jacked him up with HC and had to leave. He was fine when I got home :-D :-D
He's feeling good and all 5 P's are in order :-D
I bought a new meter today, a Relion Prime because the test strips are only 9.00 for 50! That's half of what I was paying for the Relion Micro!! Cha Ching!! dancing_cat
I'm saving 20.00 per 100! :thumbup

Thanks for all the visits yesterday :-D
Sending ♥Vines♥ to all in need :YMHUG:
Have a great night LL :YMPEACE:

Hi Pam! You know what strips cost in Canada? Usually about $75 or more for 100, there are just no cheaper kinds on the market. Yowza. It was killing me at first, but then I sat down and figured out how much a tank of gas for a round trip to stock up at the nearest American Walmart would save me . . . so now I use the Relion Prime too, and am amassing a network of people who pick up strips whenever they cross the border! In fact (I'm in property management) one of the resident caretakers of a block I manage is also a hairdresser, and she's been telling all her clients about the need for strips now that I got her diabetic husband started on using the same meter, so I think I am all set up for a while! It sure makes it easier to keep an eye on kitty's blood sugar when it's not like using a dollar bill for every test

But I guess we have cheaper Lantus up here so you can't have everything!

I'm glad Hoot surfed safely for you while you were out today and gave you a good PMPS as well. Have a nice evening!

Oh Jeeeze, we need to figure out swapping thing with Lantis and strips ;-)
Glad you figured out some good connections for your strips!
Have a good night Amy!

Hi Pam,
I'm glad Hoot is feeling good today! :-D
Yay for saving $$$ on strips!
I wish Canadian Walmart start selling Relion brand someday.....

Another Canadian speaks: Wendy clued me in to buying strips (Bayer Contour EZ) on eBay for half price, so I got 100 for $50, rather than about $95 with tax.

But we get free maple syrup here.

I'm glad Hoot is feeling Hootastic.
