Hello LL Friends,

Zoe is home from her stay at RadioCat. She had the I-131 procedure done on Weds for her HyperThyroid. She did well while in the hospital....she actually did her inhaled meds for her asthma, which I was concerned she wouldn't do and they would have to give her a steroid shot.

I picked her up just before lunch. She is a little spooked, but knew she was home as soon as pulled into the garage. She is currently curled up in her favorite spot on the bed (where she goes when she just wants to be left alone or doesn't feel well). She hasn't eaten anything since sometime overnight, but she is drinking water. I am going to let her get re-acclimated to her surroundings before getting worried about her eating. The tech taking care of her at the hospital said she did eat everyday while there...so I am not too concerned yet.

Thanks for all the good thoughts....we both appreciated them!

I'm so glad she's home! All the signs are good -- she ate at the hospital, she took her inhaler, and now she knows she's home and is in her safe spot. (Kitty always knows he's home from the vet when I turn onto our street. I guess he can smell the neighborhood!)

I'll bet she starts eating soon. Let us know!

That's a good sign if she ate at the hospital. Glad to see she is still doing well, I hope the procedure suits her, too.

Oh sweet little Zoe...she must be SOOOOOoooo happy to be back on her bed....in her safe home with you. I bet she was really nervous and maybe she will relax soon and be able to eat again. It is good that she ate at the vets though...good to know. I wish you all the success with the treatment....please tell Zoe that she is very brave and that we are all so happy she is back home... :YMHUG:

I'm glad Zoe is home and that she did so well at the vet. Zoe will be feeling better in no time. She probably didn't get much rest at the hospital so I'm sure she's tired.
