9/11 Oberon +8 96, +9 101, PMPS 188, +1 260, +2 290, +5 265

100 point drop at +3... progress. Just fed him his usual LC (FF pate, ~3%). If he drops lower should I consider giving him a little MC so he maybe doesn't bounce quite so high? Or just let it ride?
 
He's a grazer... he gets fed pretty much whenever he asks for it. So he ate a bit at +3, +6, and probably points in between. I'll check BG again in half an hour or so (+8).
 
Wow! That WAS quite a drop. Nice to see those blues! Honestly, you will probably see a bounce no matter what. Nova still bounces, although not a high as previously, and she recovers sooner these days. I agree with Lyla, LC is the way to go.
 
OK, he's 188 at PMPS... this is the lowest by far that I've ever shot. I'm guessing that he's bouncing back up and this will go fine, but any advice before I shoot? I have supplies and could stay up with him if needed.
 
He is rising, so it's not likely you'll need to stay up with him. But great that you're prepared cos you never know for sure. And 188 is a great number to shoot! The best you've seen, I believe.
Get a +1 and then a +2 to see where he may be heading.
 
I went for it. Eek! But I'm expecting a big bounce, so I'm not really worried. I'll check at +1 and see what's happening. Thanks!
 
Not bouncing all that high so far... 290 at +2, then back down to 265 at +5. My husband should be able to check him at +10 or so so we know which way he's heading at AMPS. Given that this is a new dose and the first time we're really seeing numbers this low instead of a huge bounce, should I think about getting up to check him overnight?
