Morning LL!! I'm a little upset today!! Moonie has been getting litter & is a litle wet on her bottom & leg some days- I didnt fill the LB that high with litter, as she has the neuropathy & her LB habits dont go with her problems! I wash her off, She hisses at me very fiercely, & I dry her off!!
I amj worried she'll get an infection from this, so I make sure I get it all off!
She often has litter on her foot, which does dry & come off!
Guess I'm upset at her disability! Wish I could take it away :sad: :sad: :sad: Otherwise she is great!
Off to help my DB, Jewelry is all done, Now they are predicting showers for tomorrow(I will shoot myself!!)Thankfully this show has a raindate for next Sunday, soooooo

Moonie is off to Stu's in camp and is looking forward to seeing the other kitty friends there--we've been out of the loop!
Copper civvie will be starting AB's Tuesday for his 1st dental on 9/20--I Am So Worried already, he has never been left at the vet nailbite_smile nailbite_smile nailbite_smile --And all the bad dental stories!!!
I have already told vet I want no metacam, bupe only, monitoring Etc Etc--our whole dental list :lol: :lol: --Hope he will be fine(needs many extractions) nailbite_smile
Ok I wont worry, but could use some refresher ideas with the ab's

Poor Moonie, I'm sure she appreciates getting cleaned up, after you're done! :lol: We use the Breeze too and I love it. We left to old LB nearby , but Tess always chose the Breeze after we put it in the "proper spot". The urine drains away immediately, no pudding up first. At least she wouldn't have the litter stuck to her. We got ours on Amazon for a lot less.

wow and nice LB! - I might have to check that out. Maybe that would work for Moonie?

Nice blue already for Moonie - woo hoo! Probably not exactly what you want to see when you're headed out though!

Emma uses the breeze LB too and it's great. Because of her kidney issues she pees a lot, and I have to replace the absorbent pad in the bottom of the box about every 5 days. That's the most expensive part, but I think it's worth it. There's no odor, and no litter everywhere. I don't mind having it in the bathroom now!

For litter sticking to paws-thick pile piece of carpet outside box?
Lucky's was in cellar with a couple of mats as you wne up the stairs. Meant most of it was dry and off her feet by the time she came back in the house.

Can't think of anything with LB for bottom other than what your doing. I wouldn't of thought it would lead to infection unless it somehow is going in internally?

Hope the rain holds off for you :mrgreen:

We use the Breeze as well....love it. LOVE it. LOVE IT!!!
It's good that you are cleaning her off...have no ideas for you. Guess she is having trouble squatting down,eh? Not sure what you can do other then what you are already doing....
I agree with Jill...you are a GREAT Mamabean...they are lucky kitties!

Back from long trek-Moonie was in the catnapper when we got home--Will look into the breeze--Hope it wont be another thing they wont use!! ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile

binks uses the breeze as well. i don't use the pads...that way i can test for ketones and just rinse out the pan. cant remember, but i think it was ann who suggested that to me.

works like a charm (except the time i had no pellets and used dried kidney beans instead till i could get some. he started in there, and almost fainted from the color change. took 2 days to coax him back to it...then he'd always check the pellets b4 hopping in. you should have heard the pharmacists reaction when i asked if passing urine over kidney beans would affect the outcome of a ketone test!) :))

Hi Roni, We are wishing good-dental wishes for Copper. I'm sure he'll be fine. The Breeze sounds like it might work for Moonie. Stu, because of his renal problems, pees way too much at a time, so I would be changing that pad every day, I'm sure.
Have a good show tomorrow, and I hope it doesn't rain. So glad that Moonie could come to visit Stu today. They started out at camp and then came back to the house and spent some time in the garden, chasing moths.

It wasn't I, Ann, but I do have to shave my little civvie's britches, much as I hate to do that to his beautiful fur.
He has a bathroom problem, with his long hair.
I don't think that would be Moonie's problem tho. She looks to be a tuxedo?

Hope you got some good rest Roni. Moonie had some good numbers. Hope the litter situation improves for both of you very soon and Copper has a nice, easy dental!
