Max started a bounce last night that has maybe peaked this morning. He was meowing an hour before it was time to tfs but didn't eat the baby food again. Then he was making it difficult to shoot and making those grunting noises. I don't think he feels well at all. I finally got to shoot but he moved and I'm not sure if he got it. He meowed a few minutes later but didn't eat his food. I tried to finger feed a little and gave him a few fd which he did eat to chase the pill. I'm a little worried. I got some sleep last night and was hoping today would start okay but no such luck.

DM was still a little better when my sister left the hospital yesterday and I haven't gotten a call yet so I think all is at least status quo there. They did the echo around 5:00 last night so the results should be in when her cardiologist visits this morning hopefully or else it will be tonight. Please keep the prayers coming.

Finally eating a little one hour after insulin.

Bummer on the furshot, but some insulin must have gotten in, since he did come down from those dizzying heights! Hopefully he'll slide a little more and then give you a nicer PMPS.

I hope that Max will be feeling better tomorrow. Bummer on the fur shot, but it looks like he is handling it well and coming down on his own.

Looks like he got at least some juice going today! I hope he's feeling better this evening, and prayers continue for your Mom.

I don't know if Max got a fur shot or not. Maybe just bouncing. He was so uncomfortable he made it hard to shoot. I don't know what is bothering him these days but something is in the mornings. Could he have come down on his own?

Good news on the mom front. She is getting better each day. Still don't know what the echo showed but all her numbers are slowly getting better otherwise. Barring any complications she will get to come home either tomorrow or Saturday. Her cardiologist said he can treat her from home and all the other docs feel the same as long as nothing else goes wrong. She walked down the hallway today and I didn't hear any wheezing or shortness of breath. Thanks for all the prayers and all of you that have been checking in on us. It is so appreciated.

i've been busy with all the new members, but you are definitely on my mind. so glad to hear your mom is better!

morning is a common time for arthritis to bother people - i wonder if it's the same for cats.

I had the same thought as Julie. My arthritis is always worse in the morning, so maybe that is what is bothering Max.

Good to see Max land on a more reasonable floor tonight. Weird cycle, just chalk it up to the cat. And maybe some morning discomfort.

Great news on the mom front. So happy to read she might be going home soon. :YMHUG: Healing vines still going her way.

Thank you Wendy, Ella, Tricia, and Julie for stopping by. I don't think what is going on the last few mornings is pain from arthritis although it could be contributing to Max not feeling well. I'm thinking some kind of gi distress or a pancreatitis bout. I hope I am wrong. Once things settle down with my mom I will make a vet appointment if it continues.

His BG is coming down slowly so far and I hope that continues. It will be fine if he surfs blue tonight. I actually got more than 2 hours of sleep for the first time in a long time last night and it would be nice if that happened tonight as well.

DM's BP was high tonight which is rare and her heart rate way too high as well. She was admitted for the UTI and low BP. Please keep the prayers coming that this too passes and she gets to come home for the weekend. Thank you all.
