Yesterday morning we started a new dose for Mannie. :cool: It was a really nice day for him: blue AM cycle, and a nice green one in the PM. YAY! I expect that there was some shed action involved here. I hope he likes his new dose, that this one is a keeper for a while. Good job Mannie! cat_pet_icon We have a nice low low amps to start today, the +1 is up quite a bit. I hope that is just a food spike. I had hoped to go solo hiking today, but not too sure.... we shall wait a little and see how the day progresses. :-D

All is well in MannieLand. :-D And the kitty choir is back! :cool: All three of them! :shock: all singing and bellowing and whining at the foot of my bed this morning. I guess that they all decided that no way was the bean oversleeping this morning. They made sure of it. It is so great to have a backup alarm system. :lol: I had bellows, and claws and wet noses and gentle nudges. I am so glad that Mannie and Elsa have not retired form active choir duty.... We had a good test feed shoot this morning. Lots of purrs too. :-D He waited so patiently while the bean decided what to feed. I cannot figure out what my issue was - it's not like he has a ton of variety... it's wellness... wellness.. wellness... :lol: :lol: The other two were not so impatient: bellows from them, the "HURRY UP" kind, and so so many whacks. Each bellow was punctuated with a whack. :roll: :lol: Mannie continues his membership in the clean plate club, and HEY!! He used the auto feeder for mini meal #1. YAY!!! He was so funny... He hears the sound it makes, heads on over, jumps up to where it is and then stands there, turns and looks at me with a "MEOW?". I told him, yes it is yours... "MEOW!" was the response and he proceeds to gobble it up. Too funny.... All the kitties are now in nap mode - major I-) I-) I-) in progress. Normalcy in MannieLand. :-D

Have a great day everyone! Still not sure what will be here today. I have so many things to take care of on the home front, also want to go hiking.... What a dilemma!

KITTIES!!!! Guess what! Tomorrow is the FULL HARVEST MOON!!!! We have to have a party!!! But where? Maybe we an go to Camp Stu? Or maybe Rusty's barn. The barn is always so cool! So.... we need to plan today! What'd'ya guys think? Maybe we could go for some dunes sliding, and have a cookout and plan... See you? ~~ Mannie

Mannie likes this dose-- I think that even on a reduction, I like to wait few days to see where it is going...

Mannie Boy--I AM READY for Full Moon Party! We will be singing loud & strong & all kitties and newbies are invited to sing in the kitty choir--We will be singing a song for all our GA friends so we can see them up in the clouds! They love to visit & we love to sing for them--We do it every Full Moon!

Mannie, thanks for comforting me yesterday. i'm feeling good today, no big noises! But the Dunes are wet! Not fun to slide on wet sand! Who has dry weather? But this is an important Moon and we need to plan something special, we could go check out the barn. -- Tess

Hi Michelle, nice blues for Mannie! Oh boy, kitty choir back in action and just a temporary leave from Mannie and Elsie. You could always take one of the mini hikes if Mannie allows. Good for the auto feeder, Mannie. I have yet to set the timer for mine. Good luck on this dose.

Hey Mannie, that's right, Full Moon party, so rehearsal for the kitty choir. I'm up for anything, too, today. Dunes sliding sounds fun and a cookout for sure. I'll bring some salmon burgers, Maggie, see ya soon.

Awesome cycle last night and what a good boy he is to eat his breffis #1 from the auto feeder.

Hope you have a relaxing day. Man the moon looked full to me LAST NIGHT.

well.... I went . WHAT FUN! :cool: :razz: :razz: :razz: We have all joked about Mannie's uncanny ability to give me time when I say I want to do something, or go hike, whatever it may be. This morning when I tested him I got a 119, I said to him at that time "well Mannie, that's a little low for me to go and hike today. We'll just wait little and see what you do at +1. I can stay home, no big deal". Imagine my surprise when I tested him and got 198, and a 179 @ +2. completely hike-able numbers.... Does he really pick up on all that, or is it just what he would have done. I dunno... I'd like to think he just knows, gives me a number I can live with and go play. So I did: an alpine mountain lake up by Snoqualmie Pass. I logged about 7.5 miles, made it home in time for Mannie's +9, and there he is at a 178, just where I left him. that is so twilight zone.... Mannie you truly are the bestest ever! cat_pet_icon I took a ton of photos, and will try and post some in Mannie's condo tomorrow morning.

Hi Sharon - thanks for the visit! It's been a decent day - not too bad for the second day after a reduction. YAY! :-D me too on the kitty vhoir - I so rely on them to get me up.... :roll:

Hi Roni - I hope so on the new dose. I know with him that I do have to wait a few days, sometimes a week, to see where he is going with it. he really need time to process that change. I am glad to see blue today on day 2. Not too bad! and thank - day has been great!! :-D :razz:

Hi Marje - Yesterday was good, not too bad today either. Once again he let me go play when I asked. uncanny! I KNOW on eh moon - I could see it when I got up, and it sure did look full,. SO BIG, and SO ORANGE - gorgeous!! Oh YAY on the new drink! Mannie will be happy. He is so busy with his cookbooks this afternoon....

Hey Mannie, Let's indeed have the Full Harvest Moon party in my barn. But bring the KTSS stuff, because I'll have vetty smell. Hopefully I'll still have all of my remaining teeth! Please ask Gracie to make a drink that will be soothing to the teeth and gums!!! My mamabean is a little scared, but I told her not to be because I have been through this before.

Hi Michelle, It's great that you got to take your hike today. What a fine kitty Mannie is! We had great weather for the conclusion of the 90 Miler. Our friend was much better today, but it's really good that he dropped out of the race.

Very nice numbers for Mannie today even with the dose reduction. Hooray on the kitty choir to wake you up, and Mannie eating from his autofeeder......must be baby steps for Manster!

219 @ +2. no doubt a little bit of that 8% food raid rearing its ugly head... Hopefully he will bring that down, right Mannie? Go figure: the kitty with the renal issues doesn't care for it all that much, and the kitty who doesn't need it gobbles it down.... :roll:

Hi Ella -I am glad too. I have to take those windows of opportunity when they present themselves. Ya never know when the next one will be there... I am so glad that your friend is better, sorry that he had to drop out, but it sounds like it was for the best.
