Good morning,

Yesterday's condo

9/10 AMPS=112;+2=99; +2.5=104; +9.25=139
9/10 PMPS=164; +2=146; +5=187

9/11 AMPS=234; +2=194; +9.25=158
9/11 PMPS=148; +2=101; +4.5=104

Well, Lucy's yellow, and unfortunately she hasn't been feeling so well since last night.
Her appetite isn't good either.
I was able to feed her about half of her regular portion by slooooowly finger-feeding, pea size at a time.
I'll keep trying.
And also she's been drinking a lot this morning, but ketone tested negative.
She did poo a normal looking solid poo overnight.

I hope Lucy will improve later today.
Oh, by the way, she'll have the last pill of metronidazole this evening.

I had to work until 1am last night! :-x
Hopefully I won't have to tonight, and I can catch up on how everyone's kitties are doing!

Feel better vines for Lucy.
I hope it's just the meds making her feel bad and that her appy will be better as soon as that last pill is in the rear view mirror....

I agree! Mariko, you must be exhausted! Hope you can stop work much earlier today & catch up on some quality zzzzzzs.

Sorry to hear Lucy's appy's not the best & she's drinking more water. Am hopeful that she'll improve once she's over the metronidazole. Paws crossed!

I hope sweet little Lucy is feeling better tonight, and that you don't have to work so late again! Yay for solid poo and negative ketones!! Don't worry about catching up on us...just take care of yourself, Lucy, and Ginger!!

Good news!
Lucy is feeling MUCH better this evening compared to this morning.
She had another poo before dinner.
It was slightly soft, but she did a little bit of a crapdash!
It made me very happy!
She even ate half of her fist dinner portion by herself.
She wanted the rest finger-fed, but she waited eagerly for me to come with the food at our usual finger-feeding location (=sofa) whereas this morning she moved away from me every few tiny bites.
I really don't understand what makes her mood change so drastically, but I know she feels unwell in yellow.

She had her last pill of metronidazole this evening.
My plan is to not immediately change her pred dose back up, but to wait and see how she does.
If I see another liquipoo, I'll up her prednisolone immediately.
If her number doesn't improve, and her mood and energy don't get any better, I will suspect inflammation, and probably also increase the pred.

I have a bit more work to do later today, but not nearly as much as last night, so I'm glad about that too!

Hi Mariko.

I am glad Lucy is feeling better. These kitties keep us on our toes. Glad you finished that med, so now you can see if you need to up her pred. Anything that makes Miss Lucy feel better is good! :-D
