9/11- Lucky- today, not so good

I don't know if Lucky is not liking 1.3 or what? It was discussed that maybe it was too high or maybe he's going through liver panic. Shouldn't we be seeing better numbers on a slightly higher dose, and not worse? This cat is driving me nuts! It's not the curve that I'm not liking, it's the change in numbers :sad:

I'm no expert, but I read that you may see higher numbers for a day or two after a dose increase (somewhere in pzi sticky). You've only been shooting 1.3 for a day or so, right? Give it 3-4 days before you worry. (If I'm mistaken on the time, sorry.)
 
Just because you dont get a great curve for one 12 hour period,
dont base an adjustment on that. You should look at the whole picture.
He has only been on the new dose 3 days, I would give it a couple more days..
 
I just feel like we've lost that great momentum. I mean, he actually had yellow PS's!! This morning's PS was almost 400 :( Well, like I said, it's not the curve that I'm not liking, it's the change in numbers.

Today will be the 4th consecutive day on 1.3.

I'm sticking with it though!! We'll see how today goes I guess, fingers crossed that this dose starts doing good things nailbite_smile
 
If you are on the 4th day, I would consider a change. You did have better numbers at 1.2. How about a fat 1.2 - just a little more than the dose you gave at 1.2?

It is frustrating when such little changes seem to change the numbers. Don't forget that you are giving a small dose and he is responding - just not as much as we would like.

With these higher numbers, are you getting some ketone tests in?
 
We're in the same boat as you are. We were shooting 1.2 and seeing decent numbers, but I really wanted some green nadirs, so I increased to 1.3 and we're bouncing all over the place.

I'm going to stick with it a few more days.
 
Well, I said 1.2 but really it was a f1.2, I just didn't specify, sorry! So really if we drop down, it'll be back down to a f1.2.

I just checked him at +7.5 and he's at 366 compared to 198 at +5. That's a huge jump in a short time. Are we possibly seeing rebound here?
 
I am kinda thinking you might be.
I would listen to Sue and back down to 1.2 and hold....
especially if you had yellow preshots with 1.2
and youincresed and are now getting pink....

only cause that is what just happened to Shakes
 
I'm going to give it one more day just to see what happens and make sure and then I will definitely back down! I don't want to get back to where we were with the high PS's, high flat numbers, and 200+ nadirs because the dose was too high :sad: But I learned a very valuable lesson with that experience! So I for sure gained something from it.

Honestly, by looking at his SS, his PS's have gotten lower and nadirs are lower overall with the 1.3...I think that's why I'm hesitant to lower and need more data! Although that 366 at +7 today has me nervous about 1.3....
