Yesterday Jetta 9/10

First, my sincerest thanks to those that helped me through my first low number shoot last night- Sienne, Sherry, Sandy, Marjorie, Michelle and to those that sent support-Voilet, Melissa, Liz. DH was ready to send me to the nut farm "what are you doing shooting that low???!?!??!!!" So I explained that you all made me do it @-) Anyway, it worked out great. I didn't love her +1 so I gave her some higher carb food and she sailed on beautifully.

I wasn't even nervous shooting the 145 this morning after all of last night's bellyaching :lol: That being said, something has defintely changed with Ms. Jetta. We've had such a lovely streak of numbers (anti-jinx lately. I'm so proud of her!

OK- on the the fun stuff. I woke up this morning to much commotion about 3 feet from the bed on the floor. Jetta was hunting a wolf spider and trying her best to protect her dear mombean. cat_pet_icon I decided to help her in case she thought it resembled a snack, so after much shreiking and hopping around like a fool, I finally managed to squish it with my tissue-covered iphone. eww.

All else seems to be in order this morning. Have a great Sunday all.

What great numbers for Jetta!!!!! Thats awesome. Glad she helped you with your spider problem LOL My kitties like to chase crickets when they sneak in during cricket season here

:lol: My method of spider elimination is to grab a heavy book and drop it on it. I do however reserve such action to spiders with fur that are larger than a half dollar piece. Ones that don't meet that criteria I remove from the premises by trapping under a clear plastic cup and then slipping a thin piece of cardboard under them.

Yippee! Green is Anne's favorite color. I bet it's getting to be yours too. Great job on the shooting!
My method of spider elimination is to get Anne. Centipedes are the worst though.

You're right Sienne- these numbers aren't scary- unless I"m shooting them!! nailbite_smile :o :lol:

You're right Liz! Centipedes are the worst! Those creepy ones that scatter when you turn the light on! Thankfully we don't have those kind in FL...but I sure had my fill of them when I lilved up north.

Beautiful cycle both last night and today for Jetta.........great job shooting last night, Jaclyn. Wait until you get your first green pre-shot number :shock: :-D

Ick on the spider......I strongly dislike wolf spiders....and I agree on the centipedes, glad we don't see those here.

And don't be scared if you get a green PS!! You can do it but if it's lower than her nadir, you probably should definitely post and ask for support. ;-) Great job!

Very nice numbers for Miss Jetta today, at first you're terrified of green numbers.....then they quickly become addicting!!!!

Didn't realize you had such an active night! And you added a profile TOO! With the famous "Dead Roach" pose. Does Jetta also do "Dead Spider"? :lol:

I also throw heavy books at spiders. But if they are half-dollar size, I prefer to leave the house until DH gets home. Yes, I have! :lol:

Hope that last one comes up just an itsy bitsy bit (sorry, I couldn't resist - I don't DO bugs! :lol: )

Really though, green is the goal - right? I think we joined right around the same time, so I feel like I'm just winging it most of the time :? But the folks on this board are truly helpful so it's not sooo bad :smile:

I see a 47 in your subject line. How about a little more gravy and test in another 15-20 minutes. Since it's early in the cycle, the idea is to feed small amounts of high carb. It might be a few hours until nadir and you don't want him to get too full.

Thanks Libby, she wants nothing to do with food. I gave her Karo. She just took off on a mad dash through the house, so hopefully that was good for her.

Agreed, that's why I gave her Karo. She's come up a bit now, just a bit, but I much prefer 50s.

And should note I was a tad off with my times so the .25 was more like a .33 and the .75 more like a .6, in case those 10 minuts matter.

p.s. Edited to add- I just syringed her some gravy since that will have a longer effect than the Karo.
