When I was in Palm Springs I was telling hubby about how hot it was. It was 110-119° every day. "Cooled down" to 90-93° at night. Totally miserable. He commented "Well, at least it is pretty right?" Nope, it was desert. Brown and gray. Everything that should have been green was brown because it was covered in dirt dust. He replied "Sounds like hell" Yep, pretty much.

Hope it is a bit cooler for you today :bighug:

Saw this at the airport. They wanted $30 and I couldn't justify it:joyful:

Love the night shirt but I would have been the same, couldn’t pay that much for it, we have been hitting record highs and it is miserable, I’m hoping for cooler weather very soon!
 
Thank you for your healing thoughts Jamie! Looks like Bella is off to a great start at the Tiki Hut! I'm sure that he and Luci were off galavanting in the lagoon yesterday....I hope he'll come and join her today...she's already there this morning! Getting an early start on a warm morning...

Enjoy your day! I hope it cools off soon! I'd send you some cool Michigan air, but we don't have any...warm and humid today with a high of 86 - and storms - after that it'll cool off...then I'll send you a boat load of it... :bighug:

well -- at least it was dry -- could stand the heat and wind in east Texas, wilted in the humidity in Houston ... and this was allegedly late fall ...

I would have blown my budget on that sleep shirt ...

oh, you can have some of our weather -- cloudy, intermittent blows among the breezes, rain sometimes vertical, sometimes horizontal, sunbreak now and then, clouds come in and extinguish the light, dark gray purple clouds massing to the southwest
 
We are also having a heat wave here and it's stinky hot with high humidity. Poor Boomer just got used to having the back door open (where he loves to lay) and now it's been closed yesterday and today.

Nice gentle slide for Bella today!
 
Well, it's preparing for autumn here..like Candy & CatCat. High of only 72 for today, intermittent clouds, overcast, might rain a little. Hope my sheets out on the line get dry pretty quick. Put my electric heating mattress pad on the bed today, and dug out an extra blanket for the cooler nights. I got Idjit's new pet heating pad today and put it on the bed to see if he would like it. He's laying on it already.
