9/11 Beenie, 249 AMPS, 263 +2, 231 +6, 210 +10, PMPS 177, 45 +10!!

I'm stumped by last nights numbers and today's AMPS. NDW?
We'll see what today brings.

My vote is a bounce as NDW doesn't typically happen on the 4th cycle of an increase. Watch for Beenie to pull a fast one on you tonight. Flat yellow cycles sometimes are followed by an active on. BTW...yellow bounce is a good bounce :)
 
Oh no. Last time was 8/28, flat blue AM cycle and very active PM cycle. Had to steer her. I wasn't sure about the bounce since she was in greens for a while leading up to this. Granted the past few cycles have been higher. So interesting :bookworm:
 
Glad to see a blue PMPS. Maybe Beenie has plans to clear the bounce tonight. They just don't understand us beans need sleep. Lol

:woot:Very different plans. Just got a 45 @ +10!
I never expected to get a reduction this cycle! So lesson learned from last time. I didn't give food, retesting in 15 to see if she's going up on her own. We're two hours from AMPS.
 
She was purring A LOT, almost like she was comforting herself so it was kind of weird. I had my DH grab the +10 before he ran out the door because I had a feeling she may go low. Told him to wake me if she was 65 or less. I withheld food and re-tested and now I question was the 45 a wonky test strip. I tested her twice to make sure the second test wasn't a wonky test strip and got 141/137.
 
With the additional readings showing all the same range it would appear than the 45 was not a good reading..either wonky strip or too small a blood drop...enough for a reading but not necessarily accurate.

DH had already left for work to even ask if he got a very tiny amount of blood. I've gotten tests in the past with barely enough blood and always retested just to make sure because I was surprised that it even registered on the meter. Or simply wonky strip

Same here...sometimes a small drop is enough to give a reading but not enough "fluid" to give an accurate reading. There have been several times I got a number that just didn't fit and when I did another reading right away it came back more in line with what I would have expected.

Or maybe Beenie just wanted you to get up LOL

Don't know if you can convince DH to do this, but ANYTIME you get a number that really surprises you, you should immediately confirm to make sure it is valid. I confess, seeing a 45 in your subject line got my attention!

Will tell him about it later.:rolleyes: He's usually rushing off to catch a train but what I'll do is test her myself right away. He did wake me when he got the 45 because the note I left him said to if she was under 65. I waited 15-20 minutes to see if she would rise on her own and that is when I got the 137. Next time I'll know better. Although I wasn't shocked by the 45. She was at 141 +7 which is why I left the note for him to grab that +10 test.
