I wasn't going to post today as I have been fairly busy and nothing much happening with Sheba.........She has been dropping since AMPS and I took a +7 65 (3.6)....... decided to take a +7.5 as she was dropping steadily but I wasn't concerned. I had given her some LC food to help her surf
+7.5 29 (1.6)
I quickly gave her some honey and some MC food which she gobbled up obligingly.
Retested and she was 67.
Now at +8 she is 112. Gave her too much honey I think! but hey......it put the wind up me!!
Amazingly she showed no signs of a hypo ....
Looks like another reduction.....but that is a hell of a way to get a reduction!

I need some hugs!

Now, take a deep breath in through your nose, out through you mouth....in through your nose, out through your mouth.....

Those 20's are really scary!!! China's pulled a few of those before and once you shove your heart back into your chest, all you can do is start grabbing anything that will bring it up!

Thanks for the hugs....I could sure do with them at the moment.!
You are right....it did get my heart racing and I am sure it did jump out of my chest!.......but I felt surprisingly calm at the same time and did everything I had to automatically....then I started to get a reaction!
I was worried she might show hypo symptoms before the honey started to work but she was fine.

Wow Bron heart stopping moment for you this morning:eek: glad you stayed calm and grabbed the honey, lucky call trusting your instincts and getting that +7.5. Sheba, what you doing sweetie giving your bean such a shock!

Glad she's on the rise, time for a well deserved :coffee: for you! :bighug:

Wow on the 29. I would have given too much honey also. It's hard not to panic when you see a number like that. I hope she doesn't bounce too high. Congrats on the reducie.

I'm beginning to think Sheba is a bit of a drama queen. She does seem to love those drastic plunges and daredevil trampoline routines.
enough of the attention seeking Sheba. Mama will pay you just as much attention if you give her some slow and steady for a while.

Belated, but here ya go: :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

Whew, a heart stopper for sure. And, true, we can stay amazingly calm until the crisis passes. But then....shaky knees, beating heart, and desperate need for a sit down.

Good job!
