9/9 Racci AMPS-141,+3-41,3.75-34,4.25-36,6-51,PMPS-148,3-75

Racci seems to feel good today. She's not giving me the look she was giving yesterday and is acting more normal instead. All P's are apparent. She woke me early to feed her and help her after a poop and had several breakfasts. We also played with some of her toys this morning. :razz: She was so cute! I need to go shopping and am hoping she won't be too low today or I'll have to go another day.

I need to make an appt with the vet for Racci to get her butt and legs shaved. She just won't let me work on her back legs and she's peed on them several times in the past couple of weeks. With the knots so close to the skin I'd like to watch the pros do it before I attempt to and hurt her.

It's beautiful out again but on the cool side still. They said we'll have warm weather again next week so I'm happy summer isn't over yet and would like to do some fall shopping this week. I'm not babysitting this week so I have a break! :smile: We may start sending him 5 days a week if it works out.

I'm going to get some stuff done and try to visit some condos. TTYL . I hope all sick kitties are feeling better today!

I'm so glad Racci feels better today, poor baby - that must be so painful :cry: And I'm so glad to hear she's playing even! Yeay!

Yes, she seems to feel good today. I haven't been able to get a good look at her bottom yet though. I know that's the reason she wet her legs, she was avoiding it touching her sores, but it's so hard to clean her legs because they knot immediately when they get wet and she won't let me brush them because the knots hurt!

I hope she lets me go too. Thanks!

Racci obviously does not want you to go shopping. Nice greens, but low enough Racci. Poor girl. I hope you can get her in to get shaved. We sometimes shave Tarragon's chest because it does the same thing. We use DH's moustache trimmer and it doesn't freak Tarragon out too bad. Hope you have a great day Melanie!

Hi Melissa,

Racci's stomach was a mess too. We had to have it shaved this spring. We had all her hair trimmed and her stomach and butt shaved in the spring. I usually do it every spring to let it grow back fresh and clean with no knots and make her cooler in the summer. I never used a trimmer so have to get one and am a little afraid of hurting her, especially in such a hard to get area like her butt or hind legs. She hates when I mess with her legs.

I missed the vet so will have to make the appt tomorrow. Sorry it took so long to reply.

Look at Racci's numbers today!! So Sorry that she is having such a bad time with her rear!!

Thanks Roni. She had another litter box accident today too so she's really not too happy today and I'm exhausted. I still have medicine to give her that she wouldn't take before.
