You could touch on the brakes by giving him a tsp of gravy. Still a long way to go in this cycle, but he'll probably nadir earlier today.
For other people reading this condo, Pepper is an acrocat which means he has a working pancreas so managing the cycle with food has to be done differently.

Normally you wouldn't feed gravy for a number that high, but it's early in the cycle yet. So that's why just a little bit of gravy. You want to tap lightly on the brakes. I think Pepper might be making a statement about this dose.
