9/10 Nuzzles AMPS=250 +10=150 PMPS=579

Got a fur shot the first time I tried to up her dose to 2u - needle went through tent and out other side and then squirt, all over my finger. This morning I was surprised to see the 250 but was worried about her drop so I raced home to take a +10 and wow! I did notice that this morning her water bowl was not empty and licked dry. Will try to get some mid-cycle numbers tonight because I think she is prone to large drops unlike Snoball who has flat cycles.

That's a good idea Debbie. I will do that.

The interesting thing about the jump from 150 to 579 in those two hours is that she had no food during that time. So she really cycles low. I also notice some goop around her eyes so I think that she probably has some problems there that need to be addressed by her new foster mom.

I am going to get some late night numbers to see where she dips.

She's on Lantus right? They usually nadir somewhere around +6, so there is no way of knowing how low she went and could be having a major bounce. Her amps wasn't bad, neither was the +10, but what happened in between?

Lucian rode that roller coaster for 7 months until I put him on Lev, he's one of those. Most do great with Lantus, but a few... you know.

I feel so bad for that poor baby, I hope you can help her to be a little more comfortable and sure hope her new foster mom is as good to her as you are. :YMHUG:

Maybe you can get her to come here, too, for help. That would be great if she would. Would like to know how that baby does in the future.
