Hi all,

Will taday is curve day but from numbers i see i thought that this morning drop does not absorbed will :banghead::banghead:. I always check the syringe when i pull it out, but if it goes will then the nubers for sure should be different.

It is also sad because it means that she is not ready yet :arghh:

My feeling is you should try 0.1u again to get her into some greens before going back to the drop dose. Let's see what the others think.

I can try something between but they suggest that i wait.

I am very sure that i missed the dose or it didi not obserbed will or whatever because she is doing will on it and the number will be lower for sure.

I hate it because i have to email it to the vet and i do not want to do all that again!!

She is pretty flat today, it's true, and she's been in mid-blues for almost the whole time on the drop dose, but on the evenings when you got some tests in there were a couple nights she dropped into excellent numbers. Hmmm.

Why do you have to email it to the vet? Could you instead do the curve on another day when you were certain the shot went in? I'd also definitely make a note on the spreadsheet (column all the way to the right) about the possible fur shot-- it helps to have these things recorded when you go back to try to figure out patterns.

Overall, she's still looking pretty good. Is she still feeling/acting like she's feeling better?

Your vet will like those numbers today. They are all in the normal range on AT. I'd also send her the readings you took since the drop dose. If you don't see green tonight you can try that in between dose but may need to feed her curve in the first few hours. That's if she keeps the old pattern of steep drops early.

Yes she is doing fine :bighug:

Her second sycle is in an hour, will see what is going to be then i will try this dose for another day and after that will try the in between dose, is she going to bounce or get high numbers if i change the dose!!

I would give MC. It's too early to drop that low on an AT meter.

MeMe heard me suggesting a dosecrease and didn't like it. Sorry

You'll drive yourself crazy asking "why"....she's a cat. Honestly, I'd give LC and see how she does.
:oops::oops::oops::oops:
you are right. One day i will go crazy but i used to be worried about everything happening to her since i lost my dear cat 4 months ago because of heart clot so i watched her closley and afraid of anything make her sick :(:(:( . She is the only one i have now.

I'm so sorry for your loss and completely understand. Doodles crossed from HCM/ CHF 7 months ago and my life still isn't the same. :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

Did she eat a meal around shot time? Could just be her pancreas responding to that-- I find it hard to understand how it could be insulin, at least not from that most recent shot (maybe a pulse from the depot?). The only one who knows what is going on is MeMe, and she's not telling...

So sorry about your other kitty. :( Give MeMe some extra hugs for being such a good girl-- you are doing a fantastic job with her!

Hope doodle is doing fine and all best wishes. I still feel gulty because i did not notice that my dear HONEY (14 years old)has early signs of kidney failur so when the heart attack happened it was too late because clots transfer to kidney and cause more damages. It was the hardest decision to make but i had to put him to sleep to stop his suffering:(. Since that time i was watching meme closely for any changes in her life.

Yes she had her meal as usual. Hope she hold this greens all the way and not dropping more.

If it were me I'd switch to the human meter. yes, we can work with the AT meter but there is a bit of guess work. Maybe think about it starting the next cycle or so. Of course it's your decision.

Yes i was thinking about that, it will be easier for you as most of you using human meter and i only have 1 bottle of AT strips.

I will switch to human meter and mintion that in SS but i will do the curve again tomorrow so maybe after one day.

The human meter i have is onetouch verio hope it will be fine. I make tests before and it is ok on low numbers just 18 to 20 points different.
