Jack is still unphased by all the noise and changes... He even managed to get the bean up in the middle of the night due to the spidey sense at the BB test. He was at 55 and got some carbs to tide him over, needed a little sleep since tonight is going to be a long night.

Will try to post some updates as the day goes on, but we aren't supposed to get real nasty weather until later tonight. It is a ghost town around here with people either holed up or out of town. Kind of eerie. We are already getting some gusts here now.

Hope every stays safe and vines to all the kitties who could use some including some appy vines for Phoebe.
 
Good luck Wes, keep us updated if you can. I have a friend who's staying put in Venice on the island, I don't know why? Prayers for all in Florida.
 
220 to 55 in 4 hours Jack...seriously buddy? Glad you guys are still safe. The weather channel is on here praying for you all. My friend on Anna Maria Island evacuated to town :rolleyes: in Bradenton. Surf nicely Jack now Jack!

He has a flair for being dramatic, that is with a half can of LC in between. Glad I set the alarm:rolleyes:.

barrier islands are not the place I would want to be. All my friends on the beaches high-tailed it to higher ground. We might be a little stubborn, but we ain't dumb.

Wind and rain I can deal with, storm surge we take seriously(well most of us).

Thought about a BCS, but I am not going anywhere today and will be up most of the night since that is the peak of the storm. Paws crossed he likes 10u, one more to go to single digits if it sticks.

We are battened down good, I thought it might be a bit overkill, but even the cat's got their entrance boarded up. Comic relief if nothing else:cool:

That's bayshore blvd, never seen it that low, a good summer storm can push water over the sea wall. They say we have a negative storm surge right now while the winds are blowing out, when the storm passes the water will come up quick
