Hoot is doing great and actually gave me a PDLB (Public Display of Litter Boxing) Thanks Josie And then there was something stringy in his poo so of course I had to see what it was. It was a piece of grass from Sunday :lol: :lol: Detective Poo would be proud :lol: :lol:
He is doing great on his new dose :mrgreen: and he is feeling great.
He was just playing with his new paper towel ring and now he's resting. Waiting for his next poke :roll:
I love these low numbers but Hoot....not so much :lol: to many pokes :roll: Sorry Hootie, Mama has to keep you safe!
I'm sorry I got no visits in yesterday (well except I couldn't resist "Bob's Penis Condo" :lol: :lol: :lol:)

So my question is when a kitty has a low PS # (low for Hoot) like Hoots was this morning, what does that mean? Does it mean his pancreas was working? Hoots PS numbers are usually in the 200's.

I don't really have a full answer for you, but I'm guessing that it may be the insulin that's helping to lower his #s. And if you're feeding him a low carb food, that along with the recent increase may be helping to lower his #s. I hope that someone with more knowledge than I have can help you with your question. I agree that it may be the recent dose increase. Only time will tell! But it's always nice for anyone to see their cat's numbers go down a bit! :-D

Hi Pam. Sorry I can't answer your question either but I guess we all like to think it is. Hoot sure is looking good and I hope it is because his pancreas is working. He has a nice surf going......Keep surfing Hoot!

What a nice start for Hoot - and he's still on a roll :mrgreen: Be patient for the pokes, Hoot, that's what is keeping you feeling so good!

Don't worry about not getting around to all the condos - sometimes you can, sometime you can't. At least if you post Hoot's condo everybody knows you guys are doing okay even if busy! I suspect that the reason for the good pre-shot is that Hoot likes this dose. It's too early to know if his pancreas is kicking in.

What great numbers for Hoot. I concur: I think that Hoot really likes this dose, there fore the great Numbers. Time will tell on the pancreas. Paws crossed!
