Happy Happy Caturday!!! Sending healing vines to Garland and Rocket and any other who need them. Happy Belated 18th Birthday to Rocket!!! Congrats on OTJ to Cinco and Tricia and Star and Rebecca!

Our crazy baby was just that this morning. We headed out to the catio for breffis #1 and a little snooze for mamabean and then I heard her chirping wildly and looked and she was climbing up her tall condo then jumped down to the smaller one then over to the tall one, through the "house" on it, down through the hole almost swinging on the rope, then climbed back up again :lol: :lol: :lol: It was like she was on a jungle gym and having a grand time. I'm glad she feels really well and hope that wil continue once her numbers start coming down. I think yesterday was some NDW ....I'm glad to see her PS today came down. Paws crossed she will start to settle into her dose and lev. She, Tobey, and Teddi have been out on the catio with me most of the morning......it's so beautifully cool after last night's rain...lots of chirping birds and skitter skattering lizards.

Our friends are hiking in Sabino Canyon this morning and we will head out to lunch later. I thought I'd get posted before the day gets any older. Today's Patio has a 50% off sale on Sunbrella Patio umbrellas and so I want to make a run over there today and get one.....if time allows.

Last week I posted a photo of Gracie in our built-in clothes shelves with her head on my swimsuits. Today you get the "rest of the story" :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: Have an awesome day!

Happy day here!!!! FINALLY we start to see some response to the levemir!!! However, I have no idea when she onset. But at least now I know she's responding so I can do a mini-curve tonight and tomorrow to figure out her onset.

I'll probably test at +5 just to get an idea of how fast she is moving and if it has slowed down from her lantus drops.

Hi Marje, the pic of Gracie's back end is too cute! The places they like to hang out in are so funny. I'm not used to seeing Gracie not dive here, and it looks like she is liking the Lev once she's settled into her dose and all! Sending good Lev vines to you and Gracie. BigMac always used Lev and we had good luck with it. The nadir is sometimes a bit later than Lantus for some kitties. (you've probably heard all this... I've been away a lot.) BigMac seemed to hit his nadir around +7 or +8. But if the dose was getting to be too much - the onset and nadir were earlier in the cycle. Just my experience. ;-)

So very pleased to see some nice cool blue today. Hope it continues, stays nice and steady and gently comes down some. Wouldn't that be wonderful for little Gracie?!

I opened the patio door last night, after the rain and Morgaine was right there sniffing it all in, Slight reminder that it does cool off here, eventually.

Smokey thinks that it looks very comfy- but he would like to remind Gracie to tuck her feet under- beans have an annoying habit of tickling them!

Gracie sure has a cute hiney. Good thing I wasn't around to see it in person...I'd have to give it a squishy!!!

I could never walk by those toes without a tickle! Glad the lev is kicking in....sounds like Gracie feels wonderful!

Love the photo, was that Gracie's best side in the pose? How fabulous to see these numbers today!!! Now, if Zener will follow his role model Gracie into the blues. ;-)
Have a great weekend with your guests. Sabino Canyon must be gorgeous today. I knew it had to be cool and lovely in Tucson since we are in the low 60s up here and 40s last night - quilts are out!

Hi everyone!!! Thanks for visiting today. So this is cracking me up....this looks like a lovely, flat (altho a little high) lantus curve which Gracie never did :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

Friends got back from the canyon earlier than I thought and we hung out here a bit so I could test Grace, then went to lunch (YUM..banana cream pie and choc silk pie for dessert!!), came back for me to test Grace, and then we headed to the west side of Tucson to the patio store as we both wanted to take advantage of the sale on sunbrella umbrellas. Unfortunately, our friends' petsitter called and was not feeling well and was not going to be able to do the evening feed for their cats so they just headed home. So I'm alone again but feeling pretty cheery after a nice day out but more so for all this flat low yellow which is not that ugly color of the past several days.

I'm glad you all enjoyed Gracie's photo...she has the sweetest little toes and the cutest little bum!!!

Sienne: very silly the positions she gets into. It's all about Gracie comfort.

Jaclyn: YES on the lev and also on the tickling toes....I like to kiss them.

Kathy: thank you....me too on the cycles.

Ann: Thank you for the good lev vines. I did have a lovely visit with our friends last night and today. Wish Mike had been here.

Carolyn: Please help yourself to her photo. You should see the previous one...it is adorable. I looked at BigMac's SS and he got super nice and flat. Of course, since Gracie has a crush on BigMac, I told her he might really really go for her if she had a lovely flat lev curve! :lol: :lol: :lol:

Rosalie: oh yes...big time and Mike is always washing his stuff where Gracie likes to lay. Yes it would be very wonderful. And it was a great night last night...glad Morgaine got some cool air sniffs.

Gwen: she always has her feet splayed out...I think she likes the toes kisses!!

Patty: thank you!!! FINALLY.....and you, too. She does have a cute hiney and it is fun to give it a squishy!

Hi guys!! YAY!!!! on the +4 - I bet you are happy to see that blue! It seems that she is much flatter on the Lev? maybe that is a good thing - now just to find the right dose.

Love the photo. Way to cute!

It sounds like you had a great time with your friends. It is too bad that they had to leave early. dessert sounds really good.... :-D

i think gracie's liking this lev! this is so super to see her not diving! i'm excited on her behalf!

Hmmm....I was thinking her PS might come down. I need to find that typical lev cycle information. Or maybe the dip comes later..... Or maybe she's ...not gonna say the "b" word.

I think Gracie and Zener are cousins, always throwing us surprises and sometimes not very nice ones either. Gracie, you need to come back down to the blues and bring Zener with you.

Hi Gracie, You sure gave your mamabean an interesting cycle today. Very nice and pretty flat. I will be curious to see how she does when you get the right dose figured out, Marje. Gracie, you are very photogenic, even from that angle!
Sounds like you had a lovely day even though it was cut short by your friends' petsitter.

Thanks for visiting Rusty and for your good dental vines and advice. Tobey, I know that Rusty will appreciate a good KTSS visit with massage on Monday. And I will be so happy to see you. I may make a cinnamon cake tomorrow!

Hooray that youre finally seeing some Lev action.....and look how flat it's making Miss Gracie! No huge dives!
