Yesterday's Flat Kitty Condo

And the flatness continues. No lagoon surf, however. :sad: I know, I know - Cinco's looking great and I need to quit whining. I guess he thinks I've got him figured out, so he had to change things up! I hope that doesn't mean he's flipped the schedule and we'll be having a pj party tonight! :o

Second full day after chemo and so far, Sasha is doing just fine (anti-jinx, anti-jinx,anti-jinx). Appy was good this morning and she seems to feel okay. Trying not to hover.

Actually, I spent the entire morning parked in front of the PC - I feel like I haven't been as interactive as I should, so I tried to visit as many condos as possible. Even a talkative person like me runs out of things to say eventually, so I think I'll give my aching fingers a rest and go do something else. I may make a run out to look for that Dave's pet food - apparently there's a feed store just a few miles from my house that carries it. I need to check this out!

Sending healing vines to all in need, and hugs to all their beans. :YMHUG: Prayers continue for Amy's DF, Lyresa's DF and Elise's DM, among others. Looks like we might have an OTJ trial coming up (anti-jinx), the way Skunky's looking! :-D

Et tu bleu? Seems to be a lot of flat blue going around. I hope it doesn't mean a giant PJ party tonight.

Great news on Sasha so far. Paws crossed here she stays the same. Good luck on the fuds hunt.

I know how you feel about feeling disconnected....I just haven't had a lot of time to visit everyone's condos the way I would like to....Hopefully things will start to calm down some now and I will be able to......

Glad that Sasha is doing so well, sending vines that it continues that way! Cinco has his surgery coming up soon as well, yes?

There is certainly never a dull moment around here! Cinco wasn't overly eager to eat at t/f/s time, which usually means he has to go potty. Sure enough, as soon as I put him on the floor, he headed for the lb. He tried and tried and tried and finally produced a couple of small nuggets. Then he got out of the box and tried again, and promptly barfed! :o (we really need an "Ewwwww!" smiley). He was very upset by it and couldn't get away fast enough. I got him back to his favorite spot and broke the rules to remove his collar and clean it. I let him wash the right side of his face, but then he went for the left and I grabbed him and wrestled him back into the collar. I hope he didn't do any damage! :? I let him rest a few minutes and gave him some ondansetron. Then I offered chicken baby food, and he inhaled it. When that was gone, I offered his regular dinner, and he ate that, too! (we also need a "whew!" smilie). He's sleeping now. We'll see how his numbers go after all that. Nothing will surprise me!

Molly, his surgery isn't until the 24th. I really wish it was sooner. He has a check up on the 15th, at which time I hope the collar can come off (unless he hurt his eye again before I stopped him :roll: ).

I had no luck at the little feed store. They have the Dave's food, but only in the really big cans, and you have to buy a case at a time! Well, I'm not going to do that if I'm not sure anyone will eat it. I'll see if I can find some elsewhere. There are a few places in Sacramento that carry it, according to their website, so I'll check the next time I'm there.

Is anyone familiar with Taste of the Wild foods? I can't find them on the food charts, but when I use Tanya's carb calculator, I get 2%. No idea on the phosphorous.

The abduction theory is gaining ground too.....Skooter's mom thinks he's just been returned by the aliens since he's back to his old pattern

Gotta love these kitties! (at least that's what they tell me :lol: )

Hi Tricia!

Eddie was mostly flat blue today, and has decided to chase sharkies in the deep end. :shock: Hopefully, he doesn't lead the way for several of the other flat blue kitties today. :roll:

Poor Cinco on the barf! Eddie's like that too - he gets really upset when he pukes, and tries to clean it up like he's embarrassed it happened. Hopefully whatever caused the tummy upset (straining too hard to poo?), passes, and he feels better.

Glad to hear that Sasha is continuing to feel well. (ANTI-JINX)

Yes, I totally agree with the alien abduction theory as it is as good as any other we have come up with.....Skooter is definitely back though, and back in a BIG way.....finally got him surfin a little, we shall see what +5 brings

Poor Cinco and poor bean, nothing like crappy appy, poor pooing and a barf to create a stressful evening. Paws crossed all things GI settle soon.

Well, he ate all the food I offered him at +3 with some enthusiasm, so I'm pretty sure it was a case of trying too hard to go poo and not a real upset tummy. The weird thing is, it was really liquid, but obviously food, not clear. He only ate a couple bites of his food before that, but there were no chunks at all (sorry for anyone that is squeamish - I used to post these comments when Rachel was eating lunch!). Just another mystery. Looks like we're going to surf blue, but I'm not going to assume anything with this guy! China and Skooter may have to party at the lagoon without him tonight.
