WCR: Buzz seems to be feeling fine despite the dreary, grey day. I'm pleased with how quickly she cleared her bounce and that she had a blue AMPS today. :smile:

Nice numbers today Buzz...maybe she will surf nicely this morning if you keep her topped off with LC....mini meals are a great way of keeping them steady so they don't drop too much too fast...

Buzz has been having really great mornings lately, now to get those evenings under control. What are you doing in the evenings Buzz?

Yeah, Pat, I'm trying to get food down her throat but she's been weird about her second breakfast lately. She NEVER refuses food, no matter how many times I feed her, but she did yesterday, and then this morning she ate about 1/2 of her 2nd breakfast. I guess she's just full, though, because she doesn't do that at other times. Anyway, I will definitely see what I can do to avoid a dive.

Ann, it used to be the opposite for her. She would always be low at night and I'd be up until 3 a.m. feeding and testing her (sound familiar?! :lol: ). It seems like not too long ago that she switched and now mornings are better for her. My theory is that I usually do increases on the morning cycle, and it takes her about 24-48 hours to get used to the dose. Therefore, it's the next morning cycle when it hits. Then she bounces in the evening cycles. FD will make a fool out of you for guessing, though, so I guess I'd best keep my mouth shut. ;-)

Remembering Michelle saying how she gives a +9 snack and it seems to keep Mannie's #s lower, I decided to do the same since I am home (I'm usually not at this time). I was preparing myself that Buzz would be on her way up to a rebound, but she's not! I hope she can hang onto this until PMPS and longer. If she does, this is the first time in I don't know how long that she has 2 back-to-back blue/green cycles! ANTIJINX! ;-)

I do the same thing -- I have a feeder set for around +8. To the degree that Buzz's pancreas is working, the snack will cause her to produce endogenous insulin and bring numbers down by your shot time.

Great job of feeding the curve. It may be that when Buzz is surfing/has low numbers, she's not as hungry.
