ever the resourceful boy, and deciding the metal versions were too heavy, binks dug through a box of DS's memorabilia and found a pair of Clackers (anyone remember those?), tied the cord around his waist, and is now sportin' them around the house.

You are coming down from that +11 so I am pleased with that progress Binks. But the red floor is very uncomfortable....can you get back down to nicer numbers today? Take it easy but do keep coming down, okay?
I think I heard a threat in your condo yesterday about an increase...so eyes are on YOU boy!

man, the adoptocats are having all the fun...the bean going on about how rare it is for a cat to actually catch a squirrel, how fast & clever Annie-fannie is...blah, blah, blah. if she'd let ME-OWT, i'd use these clackers like the ancestral hunters' bolas and take down any squirrel that dared show it's bushy tail!

guess i'll have to dream about it in my catnap.

has anyone seen the post on health forum about catnip jelly? Stu, can you whip some of that up for our next gathering?

CAMP!!! It's gonna be a great day, and now your bean won't even have to worry about you while you're gone. That's the best! Mine is making me stay home a little longer because I'm dropping and Stu's bean isn't home to keep an eye on me. :YMSIGH: I should be on my way soon, though, so I'll see you there!

havin' lil trouble with my color choices today...i gotta act like the big boys and just pick the right one!
wouldn't miss stu's for the world! and bringing the Adoptocats with me...let little Annie-Fannie do the hunting for us, and Smudge-Larue can't wait to meet some other sophisticated kitties. (and maybe you guys can check out her polydactyl feet and figure out which toe she's always flashing me and whether or not it's offensive...i'd like to give her the benefit of the doubt, but they DID tear up all of my toys to "welcome" me to the household)

slow day for the boy...all p's in place except having to coax him into purring and he's in no mood to play. i'm thinking he cant be enjoying the jumped up numbers...had to wake HIM up this morning, too...think that's only ever happened twice...i really missed my little purry-furry cuddly alarm this am!

figured id get it out there ahead of time... should i be thinking dose increase this evening if his numbers dont change radically? jill and i touched on it briefly yesterday...but then the big eye-popper :) followed by the all-night-party- pooper.:( Until i'm more mobile with my knee...i'm sticking close to the house, so can pretty much work my schedule around his needs (doesnt THAT sound noble...who are we kidding...i have no schedule for another few weeks...)

what do you think, o my counselors?

it looks like the bounce has cleared. If Binks turns upward before +12, then I would probably go ahead and increase. He has room and you're home to monitor... But now that I typed that, I'm sure Binks will keep dropping and fake us out again. :roll:

of course i didnt see your post before i shot...but he was at 129 at pmps. he's like a kid in a toy shop..."what's this...a doublel dip, you say?..why yes i'll try that, thanks. oh look! a slide...what else have you got that i can try?" keepin me on my toes...

i have to say though, this way i'll get introduced to all sorts of things i probably wouldnt pick up just from looking at other folks' SS. seems like he's giving me lots of learning tools!

i did, Jill. he didnt eat quite all of it, but most of it. i guess i should be a little more detailed on my SS about his meals. my computer still times out on me sometimes...but it's getting better. i feed him LC mini-meals at 0, +1, +2, and +3...tho he seems to lose interest a little in the 4th one...so i'm thinking of making the first 2 a bit smaller. been adding methylB12 to the meals also.


do you think i need to adjust it some?

so far, it's looking good.
i keep it simple on my ss. i mark each mini-meal with an asterisk in the appropriate cell. i've been lax about it on her 2010 ss because of her liver problems, but if you take a look at alex's 2009 ss you'll see a better example. marking the mini-meals in each cell helps when trying to analyze a ss. actually, it's something i wish everyone would do. it sheds a whole lot of light on what is happening...

what a great tip...we'll get going on that in the morning...i've got a guy coming by tonight to straighten out my wireless so the computer will cooperate a little more.

lol! couldn't tell you how many spreadsheets i've looked at. i've not only set mine up so my vet can tell what's going on at a glance, but it keeps me organized when i have to be cognizant of things like meds and food consumption.
 
got suspicious when i heard my nephew call binks into kitchen this am after +11...he admits that he gave binks 2 bites of tuna casserole with egg noodles last night after the +1. would that account for the numbers?

these guys just dont get how careful we're trying to be...grrr!!

where does that leave us on his dose increase? i understand the bounce at amps yesterday...binks hasnt eaten anything this morning (whew!...good thing i was more alert than i am some mornings)
