Happy Caturday night, LL! Zener is doing fine today. Appy is good. He's been patrolling the yard a bit. We took a nap on the floor with his favorite blanket. He had a nice blue cycle this AM. We'll see what tonight brings. Thinking of kitties and beans who are ailing.

Woohoo, Zener caught a moth! I'm eating dinner on the patio and it's dark. He came in from the shadows with something in his mouth so I quickly shut the patio door. It got away and I saw it was a moth. He caught it again and then Tillie came running over to check things out. Then it got away again! And Zener went tearing across the yard after it. :lol: :lol: I don't know if he caught it again or not but this is a BANNER DAY for Z! :-D :-D

Poor Mr Z go moth hunting! :lol: :lol: He must be having fun fulfilling his hunter instinct. Come down Zener, time for you to surf on the green!

That a boy, Zener!!!! Protecting the BIC from the scary moth! You're a much better kitty than my kitty. There is something flying around my house and where is Shasta? Next to me...asleep. Would you mind talking to Shasta and tell her she needs to get off of her lazy bum and protect the house?! Please! :-D
 
Woo-hoo, Hunter Zener! Hershey was DEFINITELY meant to be an indoor kitty; Oreo is our hunter. Last night, he kept crying after Jessica (his favorite) went to bed and shut her door. (She shuts her door because Oreo chews on her dress shoes if left unattended.) I called to him to let him know where people were (like where the lights were still on - he's also not our brightest kitty ;-) ) He kept crying and stopping. So, I went to check on him. Come to find out, he had a treasure in his mouth. He's put it down and cry (I guess wanting acknowledgement.) then pick it back up. He'd do it so quickly that I couldn't even see what it was. By the time I was able to get to it, I found a little grasshopper with no legs. I smashed it to put it out of its misery and disposed of it, leaving Oreo with a bewildered look on his face. When I told Jessica about it, she said, "Well, did you at least thank him for the treasure?" :o That was NOT the reaction she had when his treasure was a wood roach! :lol: :lol:

Glad all seems to be well at your house. Hope Zener decides to come down some -

Nice blue day for Zener today, I hope he'll find some more of that tonight.

Yeah for Zener and the moth! Both my kitties love moths, but since Neko is the only one allowed outside, she gets the lion share of them. Theo only gets ones she brings in alive and lets go. They are so tasty, crunch, crunch! And great exercise.
 
Such good moth hunting, Zenner! If the Pirate was allowed outside (on land - of course in the house she's always sailing her black sailed boat) she'd be more of a bird-girl. Whence first we met her, she was batting a bird-head around the yard like a soccer ball.

Love to hear stories about what each kitty prefers to hunt. :-D

Come on down to the lagoon, Zenner - the water is really nice tonight.

Liz, I missed your condo yesterday. Hope you were able to get some rest. So funny :lol: :lol: with Zener and the moth and Tillie, too. It's nice to see him chase after it and feel energetic. Have a good night or oops, morning!
