Good Morning, Everyone, Happy Weekend, Happy September!

Rusty is feeling great this morning (yesterday he was very low-key and didn't have much appetite; this morning he ate all his breakfast in 1 sitting). The Full Blue Moon Party must have been a blast! We had a good night, good test, good shot, Wellness Chicken breakfast, and a cat who wants to go outside. Soon he will!

I am doing a short hike this morning and plan to be home for a late lunch. Edward will go to the farmers' market and he and Rusty will have lunch together. The full moon last night was spectacular and today is another sunny day.

Wishing you all a great weekend. Thinking about Desi and her fur crew in LA and hoping that they are keeping safe in the aftermath of the hurricane. Sending healing vines (and chicken soup) to Marje and Gracie, and to all kitties and beans who can use some.

Hey Kitties, What a great party! Chef Mannie outdid himself with the Moon Menu. Moonie was in fabulous voice with lots of new moon songs. Tess managed not to fall into the water. The conga dance on the dock, led by Binks--who arrived late but was ready to party-- was a hoot. It was great to see so many new kitties partying for the first time at a full-moon bash. We all howled (Tarragon led the howl and expert, veteran, howlers included Leo, Checkers, Maggie, Vyktor, Shad-0 and Queen Raja, Punkin, Princess Gracie and Tobey, her escort, Gabby, Zener, Trixie, Mocha, et al.). Emperor Karre came all the way from Africa on a special moonbeam. And the BLUE MANNIE GROUP rocked!! Mark your calendars for the next full-moon party: Sept. 30th, the Full Harvest Moon. See you then!

Rusty is off to a fine start this morning: hungry, wanting out and a mice BG to boot. Good job there Rusty.

Hi again,
My "short" hike turned out to be a bushwhack through dense woods with lots of blowdowns and other obstacles. The woods were beautiful--moss, lots of hollow places on the forest floor where critters had made their homes. We got lost several times, but finally reached our destination: a high cliff overlooking the Saranac River called the Devil's Pulpit. So instead of being home for a late lunch, I was home for Rusty's +9! Fortunately I had brought along enough water and 2 powerbars, so at least I had some food. It was a super day.

Rusty and Edward had a lot of outdoor time and Rusty had good appetite. After his +9 test and snack, he was a whirlwind of activity as he played with "Red Ears" (toy mouse), which he had ignored since last winter. Now, after a full day and a good dinner, he's stretched out on the couch.

Everyone enjoy the evening and the holiday weekend,

I'm glad you had a great day, even getting lost, then unlost, was probably fun, being with friends :smile:

Sounds like Rusty and his papabean have a nice bonding experience, when they are alone for the day. :smile:

Checkers is impressed at Rusty's beautiful numbers today, after all that wild partying last night. :-D

Agreed on the fantastic big yellow/orange moon!
