Happy Caturday LL!

It's a gray gloomy day here and supposed to rain all weekend. We're getting the tail end influence from Isaac. Ugh! We will not be getting a hurricane though, just a storm & rain all weekend to go with the rain we've already had all of August!

Racci is doing great this morning. She's had all the important 'p's exhibited already & after several meals already is taking a nap cuddled up in the big loveseat chair. I may just snap a pic of that, she looks so cute. :razz: She was probably low this morning as she was very hungry. She had me feed her at 6, hubby fed at 8, then I fed again at 9 and she was still asking for more! When I tested her she kept giving me soft paws reminding me to treat her as well. What a hungry little girl! Her poop was a little soft this morning so I didn't give her Miralax. I hope I don't regret that.

I'm babysitting dgs overnight here tonight. The first time he's spent the night here. Usually I go to his house. This should be interesting. I'm forearmed with a new box of 16 crayons which he should like because of the extra colors, a new coloring/activity book, stickers & some poster board pieces precut into shapes to add to our collection of supplies. :lol:

Happy Caturday Melanie and Racci!!

Sounds like things are busy over at Chez Racci - hope things go well with DGS visit and Racci stays stable. Thanks sosoo much for helping us out yesterday when Reuben did his nosedive flying trapeze act, we appreciated it very very much!!

Melanie, nice blue for Racci. I would love to see a pic of her all cuddled up in her loveseat chair. You do know that's her chair, right! :-D Enjoy babysitting your DGS and have a great weekend, too.

Just checking in and updating while I sit for a minute. I'm trying to get the house in order. I don't know why since little Jesse will just tear it up again, but I've got this thing about starting out neat. :lol:

Alexa, things are starting to get busy but just in preparation. :smile: The kids haven't called yet so I'm not sure what time they're bringing him, all I know is the evening some time. It would be nice if they called. ;-)

Hi Tamara. I hope I'm prepared for anything. nailbite_smile I'm sure it will be fine. Racci won't be too happy but that's the worst that will happen I think. I don't anticipate getting much sleep though. The last time we slept together he wanted to talk to me all night. :lol: I'm sure it will be fun though.

Ann, that's probably one of the few places I don't have a picture of her sleeping. I'll have to get one next time. She never stays long for some reason. I'd love to see some more pictures of Maggie come to think of it. Do you have any? Speaking of pictures, I came across baby pictures of Racci and her brothers suckling on Calli and some of them playing. How adorable! You forget how little they once were. :smile:

Racci went down instead of up so I added syrup to the mix this time. Will test again. I hate testing too soon because I know this is all going to catch up with her at once. Be right back.

Racci - I'm sure your mommy bean wants you to surf green waters, just don't go out so far into the deep end of the ocean.

Melanie - you're probably deep into DGS party time - hope all goes well and Racci doesn't get her furry little nose out of joint too much.

Hi all. I just woke from a nap with DGSk to test and feed Racci. I knew all those carbs would catch up with her, 187 at PMPS! EEK!

We had a good time tonight and my little guy is out like a light. The new supplies I got came in handy and we had fun crafting and coloring. Then he took a bath and played with his boats & rubber duckies for a while, had several snacks and finally went to bed but I had to lie down with him. He's an even more restless sleeper than I am which is pretty hard to beat! :razz: The only difference is that he sleeps soundly and I'm a light sleeper so he wakes me constantly.

Happily, she came down now and is at 67 @ 4.5 now though not happy about sharing her momma with the little bean. she's sleeping in her regular bed in the bedroom but with one eye open on him to make sure he doesn't bounce up and start running again. :lol:

Shai, Racci seems to like to go to extremes of green lately. She reads the board you know, and when we ask her to go green she obliges in spades!

Barb, it has been a while. It seems that you only get a chance to come visit on weekends now. That's better than nothing though. We miss you. How is Daphne doing? Is she holding up to the low numbers still or should I say again? How is her pain? I can't believe the summer is over already! Pretty soon we'll be wearing coats again! UGH!

Hi Helen, you're welcome. It was nothing. Tony did a good job while you were gone. My refrigerator is full of pictures with magnets so I got lots of new art from dgs tonight and he was lots of fun. He cracks me up with the things he says. :smile: As far as I know now he's just here overhight but you never can tell.

Melissa, I knew Racci would do that. It's just Murphy's law. :lol: I'm going to go back to sleep now and try to get some sleep. Racci is sitting here with me and telling me it's time for bed. She's so funny. She's right though. It's almost time to get up!

Looks like little old Racci was keeping you on your toes yesterday. Must be tough with your DGS (darling grandson? dogs?) around. :-D
Hope today goes a bit better for you guys with more stability. We have been waiting for stability to come with Charlie for 3 months so we're hopeful we'll see it soon. In the absense of that, I can totally relate to your #'s yesterday (seems like all's going well.. then a nose dive). Today is like that for us with Charlie.

Hang in there guys and keep up the great work.

Wow, that such a small does change can do that. I'm nervous for when we get that low (paws crossed that we do). I hope you guys get some cat naps in to make up for the excitement in the night.
