A bit high today but at least it wasn't black! Papaya is enjoying staying in bed this morning as it is finally cooler. Oh yeah I guess that's what happens when it's SEPTEMBER! Happy long weekend!

Good morning Amy and Papaya! There's still some summer left, even though the mornings may be cooler.

Amy, I loved your description of the furball, and how you're careful to put something on your feet. It's one of the laws of the universe that if there's a yakk somewhere, my big toe must go in it.

It's a sleepy morning here too I-) But certainly not cooler!! I have cooked more Thanksgiving Dinners with the central air on than not  I do miss the seasons ;-)
Come on back down Papaya...You can do it ;-)
Have a great cool day Amy

Thanks for visiting, Lara and Pam! I was pleasantly surprised to see green just now when I got a +6. I'm sure the people trying to do BBQs or camping stuff this weekend don't appreciate the cooler weather, but it was nice to be able to do kitchen stuff without melting, and Papaya is probably happy to not have to sprawl out on the floor to keep cool!

Lara - my grandpa had a cat that would actually throw up IN grandpa's slipper by the bed. Swing feet out of bed, slide into . . . YUK!
Pam - I like the changing of the seasons, too; I was so happy to see them again when I moved back here after four years in Taiwan. However I could do without six months of winter we get here in "Winterpeg"

Papaya likes September!!!!

Welcome back you two....I know it has been a few days...but still....welcome back. I missed your great postings...always so clever with your words....

happy to see that Papaya is starting to have some nice values now that she is home....fingers crossed it continues! those blacks at your parent's house must have been hard to see!! yikes. but then again...while away from home and on a somewhat vacation...perhaps better than super super lows???.....or not?

Kellyyyyyy! It's been a while! I was reading the board a bit when I got a chance but it does seem like I was away for a long time! I hope you and Tomcat have been having a nice summer!

Looks like it was too fast of a drop this morning and Papaya's back in black, ugh, but she doesn't seem to stay there long these days. I guess it's true that at least I didn't have to worry about leaving the house on holidays since she was often so high, but since I was actually around the house a lot just doing canning and such I would have rather she continued the downward trend. I would have had the time to do extra monitoring if needed to work towards another reduction . . . oh well. I can tell she's doing better overall just by how much she is walking around the house, even getting up on my bed on her own again, so I am doing my best to ignore the ugly starts and focus on the good numbers in between. At least that's what I'm going to keep telling myself
