I put food in the feeder last night but forgot to turn it on Poor guy sat in front of the feeder for an hour and a half waiting for food until I got up to the use bathroom and checked to see what he was doing. Of course he acted like he was soooo starved when I rotated the bowl for him

I thought about TBP today but said screw it I'll have to go in on Saturday now Either way I don't get compensation for working off hours to get work done. Post docs and RAs might be happy to work weekends and late into the night for free but not me. Hopefully Leroy won't have any complications post-surgery

Ugh isn’t that the worst when we forget to do something like that. Poor Leroy!

I realized this morning that I had made up a fresh batch of supplements that I give Ivy and they are only good for three days. I forgot to mark the date on the container yesterday morning when I made them. So last night I threw them out.
And this morning, it occurred to me that I had just made them yesterday. Instead of getting three days out of the batch, I used them for one day.
I know it’s not the end of the world, but it just shows how I have to be so methodical and make sure to write everything down and date it because I can’t trust my memory.
I’m just to taxed with everything I’m trying to retain

Anyway, I hope Leroy forgave you and that he will do very well with the surgery

The autofeeder I use for Blair got jammed on a workday once and she missed 3 of her 5 meals that day. I felt pretty bad about that. I finally figured it out when she started eating the hemp from her scratcher. She was none too pleased with me that day.

I will be thinking of Leroy on thursday
