Izzy seems to be doing fine except that wheezy purr. when she isn't purring I don't hear it, but when I try to use the stethescope she starts purring lol I don't know Vets hear a thing when they purr.

Had to shoot early to get her back towards her normal mon-friday schedule.

will start giving miralax 2x a day to see if that is too much. seems like 1x per day isn't quite enough.

It can take a little experimenting with the Miralax to find the dose that helps with your cat's constipation.

Wink gets 1/8 heaping teaspoon in the AM. He only gets a PM dose for a day or 2 if his poo is looking too firm. Then, we go back down to the once a day.

My vet also suggested increasing the dose from 1/8 t to 1/4 t. I've split the difference, giving a fat 1/8t.

Yes, I don't know how vets can hear things like heart murmurs over the purring. Guess I'm lucky my cat with a murmur is scared stiff at the vet and doesn't purr. He cowers instead. :cry: :YMSIGH:

Her weezy purr seems better. I know that sounds crazy...she hasn't had THAT much L-Lysine poweder. But I swear it's not bad.

Glad she's doing better...lovely numbers.

Just put your fingers briefly over her nose while you listen to her heart. She'll stop purring so you can hear.
