Re: 9/1 Harley 291

oh pancreas oh pancreas..why did you have to leave us?
since you've been gone we now rely
on insulin called pzi

sometimes i feel like i've given up even regulation and just hoping to keep tom in line.
a great week, barely shootable #'s followed by a week of looking at that damn meter and going 'what!!!"
i've done it all. tried every concievable method. studied that ss, made a diagram of his #'s, i've even encouraged lizard chasing (something i used to frown upon) just for the exercise to bring down those bg's 30 or 40 points.
we were so spoiled 3 years ago when tom went otj in just under 30 days.
i thought this time around would be the same.

so i guess what i'm saying to you robin is....take it easy. you've got a diabetic cat. he will take his insulin, be somewhat irregular, you'll shoot what you have to shoot and try to let it go at that. oh, and develope a sense of humour.
it's not all that bad.

Awwww, thanks you guys. I was sooooo hoping he would go off the juice again. But that's ok if he doesn't, he's such a good boy, I went and sat down at our shoot spot and he trotted over and jumped up and layed down beside me purring, so trusting, so loving.

I guess Harley and I will be dance partners forever.

ps: I retested after 20 minutes and got a 220 so I shot a 1.1u.
