FURSDAY FURSDAY FURSDAY!!! MEGA HEALING VINES to Tarragon, Garland, Rocket, and any others who need them. We're so happy for the improvement in our ailing LL kitties!!

Gracie....oh sweet adorable baby, veteran member of Mannie's CPC, cherished by all who look upon her precious baby face.....Lil Stinka at heart!! She's doing great today. Had a lovely cycle last night after clearing her bounce pretty quickly. Bouncing this morning. Girlie girlie....must learn to stop that!!! Today is NRT vetty day so I guess it's good her numbers are up because it sends her out of any lovely green/blue surf.

Beth left me a great post last night and I'm going to study Attie's SS today in relation to what she said. I've also got to pump some brains (Jill and Libby) on possibly switching to lev now that I am semi-retired and close to the end of a pen.
Many things to think about. And yes, Beth, you are right...we are no longer newbies....

My DBFF just got back from her 50th birthday Alaskan cruise and she's here for two days and then has to take her daughter back to college in Savannah and then go see her folks. So we're going to lunch in 30 minutes and I am not ready to go yet. So far I'm sticking to my self promise to get up, lift weights or do aerobics, do yoga, eat breffis before I get on the 'puter. I'll be back later and will check in so have a great day!!

Good afternoon! Gracie why are you so bouncy today??? How can a girl so sweet be ladylike that high up? Hope she clears it soon for you.

What fun to be able to go to lunch with your DBFF. That sure beats being at tbp. You are slipping into this retirement role a little to easily my dear. :-D So happy for you. Hope you had a wonderful time and treated yourself.

Thank you so much for thinking about us the last few days. It has been a blur, but all of you got us through it.
 
Marje, you're off to a good start on your 4/5s retirement. Good job with those low numbers, Gracie but quit yer bouncin!

Good evening in LL!! Busy day today...gosh, when did I have time to work ? :lol: :lol: :lol: Now I see Gracie and Tobey getting ready for the big party at Attie's!

Gracie had her NRT vetty appt today. She's still testing a little weak for her liver. Vet wondered if it could be the cyclosporine for her eyes but it is topical and from everything I've read and what the opthamalogist says, topical cyclosporine does not have systemic effects like the oral. But even still, Gracie's ALT did go up last spring. She didn't do bldwk today...Gracie is on denamarin and she said we'll recheck the liver values in another couple months.

I did ask her for a script for levemir just in case we decided to switch insulin. She said "for?" and I said "for Gracie" and she said "for what condition" and I said "for diabetes". Uh....she never heard of lev. So we discussed it and the first script she gave me said to give her .5cc bid. I laughed and asked her if she realized she put cc instead of units and I think she was embarassed but she is really a sweet person and I do think she is not used to writing "units"....cc and ml are more in her every day vernacular. So, I now have the script if we make the jump.

And as usual, Gracie, who was already having a bouncy day, decided to give me a number she hasn't given in quite some time. Guess I'll go to bed early with Mike tonight.

Ann: yeah...I swear if I don't get my exercise and breffis out of the way first, I sit at this 'puter and it's 11 before I eat!

Melissa: you are a sweetheart for popping in when you've got so much going on. We just hope you're holding your sweet boy at home tomorrow and rocking him!! Oh yeah...I'm diggin' this semi retirement!!

I wont' be around tonight....spending the evening with Mike before he leaves for another long weekend so I'll catch you all later. Have a good one.

What a busy and fun day for you today. Isn't retirement grand?? Looks like we all went to the vet today. Good luck with Lev. if you decide to try it. Rusty's new vet wasn't familiar with it either. I printed out for her the "Levemir 101" sticky from the Lev. forum.

Gracie, come on down now. Big weekend party at Attie's. Rusty says "see you there"; "bring Tobey to help with the fish".

Guess you are liking semi-retirement! There is always so much to do, you always think you'll be bored retiring!
Dont know when or if I will ever be retired, but I guess someday..... :roll:
Hope Gracie will be just fine, and all will be normal-

Oh Gracie, is the vet really that scary? Come down, you have lots to do w/ KTSS tonight.
