Yesterday's Condo

Morning everyone,

We were back in the 200's this morning... ...thought we were don w/that. At first I thought I had too much blood in the strip that it read higher than it was, so I tested again. 248??? (more than 20 pt varience) ...ran some "control" tests, retested Casey and stuck w/final reading. She was acting as if she was starving when I got up this morning, so she could have been having another "food anxiety attach" (she has a tendency to panic when food isn't readily available at the time she wants it).

Other numbers, she has been starting to jump up onto places without always doing her boucing motions to get momentum. Right now she is at easy watching the birds at the feeder, much better than her...."lets do the thing you do so I can eat" (testing).... additude.

Good morning! Hope Casey comes down gently for you today.

So good to hear that she is jumping better.   She is a smart one though. They learn quick the whole poke, shoot, feed routine.

Have a wonderful day!

Hi guys .. yeah, sometimes doing an instant recheck you still get varied numbers .. unless we had an extremely odd number in the morning, we just usually stuck with the first test number, but that was just us .. glad to hear casey is jumping more and more .. won't be around tomorrow, so have a great holiday weekend!

Yeah, unfortunately sometimes those higher numbers make a return visit...it's part of the dance. Check out Trixie's SS; you'll see the random yellows pop up for her, too. I know it's discouraging, but re-testing to make sure it wasn't a wonky strip was a great move and you're doing a wonderful job!

Have a greart day!

Thanks guys!! It is awsome to see her starting to be more of her pre-DC days. A paet of me wishes she was all better, but I am learning to appeciate the small achievements as she is taking baby steps.

I did have a real wonkie strip yesterday, that is why I retested even though it was a lower 200.

Melissa, it is great that with all on your plate, you still find time to be there for others. :YMHUG: And I am sooo glad that Tarragon is getting better!! Atta boy cat_pet_icon It put a big grin on my face hearing he made the tech get his favorite...FF  Still keeping you all in my thoughts & prayers.

I am not sure if it is the heat or what, but Casey has been a bit mopey tonight and for PMPS test/shot times she was moody and layed somewhat, yet not totally, in a meatloaf position. I don't think there is much to it...who knows, maybe she just needs more non-test/shot time attention.

Hope everyone has a great evening!!!
