Good afternoon,

Binies bg is still far from great but I think that overall she is doing better and I am SO relieved. Today is the last day of the antibiotics as my vet suscribed it (ten days) but I will ask her by e-mail if I should continue four more days to be sure.

She is not interested in hiding anymore and behaves completely normal. Her appetite could be better but it is very hot here, seems we have the (hopefully) last heatwave of the year. I gave her a rest with measuring ketones but I will hopefully manage tonight, directly after the shot.

She removed the crust from her wound but it seems to be healing from inside out. So thank god it seems to be the right decision, not to go to the vet.

So we are on the positive side today but after all Binie has been through, I am always a little suspicious, what is coming next.

I took a day off from the forum yesterday because I had to do my taxes this weekend. Since Binie is sick I left so much undone. Today is the last day for my taxes so it was just in time. :)

Yesterday was the Adele concert in Munich. My best friend bought cards as my birthday present before Binie was diagnosed. Of course I couldn't go so my friend went with her daughters and they sent me pictures all evening. Was not quite like being there, but even though nice. :)

I hope everyone is having a relaxed sunday! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Hi Heike, your update sounds very positive. I’m so happy to hear that Binie is feeling better and acting much more normal. That’s definitely wonderful news.

I know you are hesitant to feel like you were out of the woods, but let’s celebrate that she seems to be feeling well today. One day at a time :)

I’m sorry you missed the concert, but that was very sweet of your friend to send you pictures and updates.

It’s good you got your taxes done since of course it’s essential and it’s probably good that you took a day off the forum so you could focus on getting all that paperwork completed.
It’s such a huge task for us as well. I hate the thought of it, but it’s coming up and will be here before I know it:(

Wishing you a calm and peaceful evening.

Ivy and I are l sending lots of hugs to you and Binie :bighug::kiss::bighug:

Thank you so much Staci! :) You are so right, we should celebrate if things are going well instead of dwelling, what could happen.

I see Ivy is having such a beautiful curve today. I am so happy for you two and that also gives me hope, that maybe Binie also gets more regulated one day. :cat:

Enjoy your sundy Staci and thank you so much for your support!!!
