So I reduced his dose. I had shot .7u both shots yesterday to handle the higher numbers, but was thinking he needs a reduction to .6u because of the 34 on Sunday, but with this 85 today I shot .5u just to try and put the breaks on the drop today. I will probably go to .6u tonight.

He was drinking water last night, something he had stopped doing over the past month. Probably from the 300s yesterday.

The alarming thing is that I just saw Beau drinking water a few minutes ago! He never drinks water - or hasn't since he was regulated - I'm going to go test him. I sure hope he isn't high. He has hyper-T also, so maybe it is something with that?

Beau was 111 - a little higher than he has been, but he ate about 90 mins ago. Looks like I am going to have to get more tests on him.... arrrgh!

I hope it is just a little fluke and Beau comes down. You would think he would be lower than that 90 minutes after eating though. That is odd.

Hope Jeddie evens out for you today. Tigger drinks water at mealtime even when his numbers are low. I need to get him in for a checkup to check for HyperT and possible kidney issues. But he doesn't show any symptoms of either, but I know I need to get him in. Now how long have I been saying that? It is hard when he is otherwise so healthy to put him through the stress of a vet visit.

Hi Sheila-the .6 sounds like the right compromise to me. I'm right there with you, Buddy's #'s
were 160 at +9...445 at pmps! ohmygod_smile
any follow up on Beau?

Jeddie stayed low 100s until at least +9 then he climbed 100 points, so I shot .6u tonight. I hope I can stop the roller coaster ride.

Marci, I guess today is the day to zoom up after +9 for these boys. I wish we could find a way to stop Buddy from taking such big swings. I'm sure you do too! I did not test Beau again today, but I will test tomorrow before he eats to see where he is at.

Vicky, I saw that Gandalf was 62 this am in your thread. You were a little braver in shooting that than I was with Jeddie. I hope Mr. Enigma isn't in the 300s tomorrow am (knock wood, anti jinx).
