Jai Jai is now on 1 unit, this is the link I asked for your help yesterday.

Jai Jai had good numbers after the increase:

AMPS: 405
+4 263
+7 173
+9 151
PMPS: 180

I was thinking if Jai Jai's BG dropped too fast from AMPS to +4, but his subsequent numbers are more or less the same. It is encouraging and it is the first time he got blue numbers since last Saturday.

However, not knowing if it is related to his BGs, he has not cleared his plate. I am a bit worried if he does not like the food anymore.

Does your DB cat picky on food? Will they need less food when their BGs lower down?

Or, do you think the hot weather affects his appetite? It is extremely hot here.

Sorry that I have to bump this thread up....I have tested his PM +4, and it is 104. I am a bit concerned if his BG is dropping too fast, considering that his curve was almost all way down in AM.

I hope that someone may help me in Jai Jai's case. Thank you very much.

yes, definitely heat can make a cat not want to eat.

His blood sugar tests look fine today. Really great. I see the 104 at pm +4 - I think you must be exhausted. I'd probably leave him out some food and go ahead and go to bed.

Hi, Julie. Thank you for your reply. I am also glad that Jai Jai had nice numbers after the dose change. The change in his previous time gave out all black numbers that I almost blacked out.

Yes, I had went to bed, but have just got up to get his +6 reading. It is 270....it's bouncing back.
