Good morning LL!

Happy furry purry with all 5 p's. A member of the CPC club today. Woohoo! Tarragon was one hungry hungry kitty this morning. That never happens so today is a special day. We had some asthma issues again last night with lots of coughs and wheezes, but it subsided and he was able to get some rest thankfully. Rainy day here so Charlie is inside watching AP with Tarragon and I will check on them at lunch.

Hope you all have a great Friday!

I wonder if you guys got the same dust that was carried over from Africa...we've had some very yucky air this week all due to the dusty air recently carried over from the Sahara Desert.

Hope Tarragon recovers from this nasty asthma stuff.

Hugs
Tena

Yay for CPC! I'm sorry it was another wheezy night, but I'm glad he settled down and got some good rest. Hopefully this will pass all together.

Have a great day, Melissa.

Tena - We haven't had a whole lot of dust. I didn't realize you guys were getting a lot. Yuck. We have had a lot of rain in July / August. Very very unusual for us this time of year. My allergies have been bothering me too so I am wondering if all this rain is causing some issues. The pollen count is very high for this time of year. The plants are so confused. I thought of Curry the other night when we were at the ER.

Thank you Amy! I hope so too.

Morning Melissa ~O) ~O) ~O)

Looking good today Tarragon. Blues next for you, paws crossed. I'm glad that the asthma issues weren't too bad last night for Mr T, and that things subsided. Very nice on the super appy! Love it when they eat well. Good job Tarragon.

Have a great day Melissa, hope all goes well.

Good Morning, guys,

Melissa, have you given a thought to trying Allerplex for Tarragon? It has helped Rusty's breathing and I believe it is helping Marje's Tobey, too. If you have allergies, you might try it for yourself! Apparently many people get miraculous relief from their symptoms.

Glad to hear that Mr. T. is feeling good today.

Have a fine Friday,

Ella & Rusty

I'm glad T's breathing settled dwon again last night. If you've had a lot of rain maybe there are some mold issues too.

Rain sounds so wonderful! We got some the other day and it was heavenly. Looks like we're back in the heat now, though - blah. Hope you get to see some blue/green at lunchtime. Have a great Furday!

Hi again,

Standard Process Allerplex (https://www.standardprocess.com/Sta...brary/Product-Detail-Sheets/allerplex0975.pdf has been around since 1959 and the company since 1929. It is an established name in homeopathic remedies. Marje told me about it and we decided to try it after Rusty's vet thought his breathing sounded worse (he apparently does not have asthma, but has always had chronic lung congestion). Marje had a 15-year old cat a while ago who was diagnosed with asthma. She did some reading and discovered Allerplex. Her kitty did remarkably well on it and lived to be 21! Allerplex is sold through health professionals. My vet ordered it for me. You can also find it on Amazon (my vet's price was the same as Amazon's).

Good luck if you decide to try it. Rusty's vet thought his breathing was much better (she saw him again after about 6 weeks). He has been taking Allerplex since February. 1 capsule a day at first; now 2 capsules a day (the vet suggested I go to 2 capsules when starting a new bottle of 150 capsules). I open the capsule and mix the contents into about a teaspoon of Beechnut Stage 1 turkey baby food and add a teaspoon of water to make a slurry. I finger-feed it as a treat (his "lung treat"). He loves it. It smells like bouillon cubes.

Marje may be able to provide you with more info.

Hope T. is doing well this afternoon,

Ella & Rusty

p.s. Don't be put off by the list of rather strange ingredients. I don't think it has much of an effect on Rusty's bg.

That's great on the CPC this morning. Sorry about the asthma issues last night. I hope Tarragon is breathing better today. Sending prayers for Tarragon.
