She started to eat when I set it down to give her shot.
Then she quit. I don't think she likes the shot during her food ( or any other time either)
So she quit eating to fight me instead.

It got knocked around and she ate part of it. I kept showing it to her to finish it and she mostly did.
That was just about 3 hrs ago ( 10 more minutes)

Hi guys .. sorry shadow is giving you such a rough time .. mocha NEVER cooperated with us at shot times .. she fought every single time, so I know it's hard when you have to struggle .. however, shadow is giving you some beautiful numbers! Have a great day!

She usually starts going up now so who knows.

I have a friskies prime filets with chicken in gravy 14% carb sitting where everyone can find it for such an occasion.
I'm watching but I bet she's decided not to do it today, better to wait until night so no one sleeps much.

Well, I guess that means I can go out and blow off the roof and cut the grass.... YAY! I was sort of hoping for a 45 so I'd have a good excuse :lol:

Sorry to see Shadow has been quite a handful today! At least she has given you good numbers. If I am counting correctly, I think she earns a decrease tomorrow night?

Poor babies - both of you. I can relate as Fitzel has taken to making herself as small as possible behind the toilet up against a storage unit and I have to lean in and grab her by the scruff of her neck to be able to test her. She cries, hisses, spits and splits - sometimes she gets these bursts of strength and she's gone. So is the nice blood droplet. And we start all over again. Little do they know, we are in as much pain as they are.

My heart is with you and Shadow and I'm sending prayers that she will calm down and allow you to do what needs be done.

well, Phew......
tonite's shot didn't have a fight although she doesn't want to sit by me now. ate half and left to sit on the other side of the room.
I gave her 2 shrimp in her food which I guess had a stronger smell enough to get me back to just being growled at while
I stuck her.
I tried the clothespin trick but she didn't like that. I feel like her nerve endings are all on edge.

don't get why my pmps went up since she didn't have food for 6 1/2 hrs. :YMSIGH:
I do have a little doubt that I got all the insulin in.
There was a one drop bead on her skin when I was done. don't know if it oozed out a tad.
but given my current number,.....
