Small update on Rocket....
He looked pretty tired last night but managed to stay out rather than being reclusive in the later part of the evening....I managed to get enough food into his tummy and by 11:30 pm (his last round of meds) I took him to his bed and tucked him in....yes...like a baby with his blankets and Teddy Bear....
He slept for about 1 hr (usually sleeping off the meds)....then he was hungry...so i brought food for him...he ate almost all to which i was happy and tired!....I left enough food out for him in case i slept thru my alarm...and so by 3.30 am (of of the many alarms) I got up to give him the pepcid....he had eaten what i left out for him...
For whatever reason he becomes pretty restless by 4 am...he bangs on the blinds and i’m not sure why...at first i thought it was the pepcid doing it as the schedule for it has changed due to him being on the Baytril (gotta space them out)....or if it’s due to him being dehydrated and wants his fluids....i can’t put my finger on it...i don’t have a clue...but his restlessness makes me not sleep from 4-5 (at 5 he gets his insulin and fluids) and i manage to go to bed for 1 hr....i’m not at all complaining...i’m just puzzled....
He ate well at shot time and again a small snack at 6.15 am (Baytril at 6.30)....i managed to syringe feed him some more food at 7 before heading out the door....everything goes bad after that Baytril....
Going home to check on him at lunch....
This bean is pretty tired....i’m a walking zombie...waiting to hear from the vet to see how much longer on the Baytril he has....currently i have enough until this coming Sunday.....
