I'm noticing an odd thing with Ollie's behavior. He comes looking for food, not when his numbers go low.. but when his numbers start to go up. This morning he was desperate for food (biting my leg until i got up to feed him)at +2.75. I tested him and he was 110. ( his ususal meals are PS, +1,+2 & +3) He did the same thing yesterday just before PMPS. He was CRYING for food and i did t/f/s almost half an hour early. His PMPS was 119. His BG goes down after he eats/gets insulin and he calms down. Has anyone else notice their cats looking for food when their numbers start to rise?



Holy Cow, where did today go? Got DH packed up and off to a car show. Ollie went btb all by his lonesome self. ;-) Eventually, Ollie came and slept in the chair next to me while i did paperwork/company stuff all frigging day. Still not done, but put a serious dent in the pile.

Careful. I had to stall once for a long time, and I was joking that my cats were going to start in on me pretty soon, if I stalled much longer :lol:

When I see J.D. acting really (kind of desparately) hungry, I usually test him and he's going lower.

Hi Mary,
When Rusty goes low he isn't usually overly hungry. He rarely gobbles his food, so I guess ECID is the only way to explain it.

Ollie has wonderful numbers. Have a fun weekend. Are you going to races?

Furball always seems hungrier when she's higher than when she's lower. Of course I haven't seen that many greens.

Lucky ready for food after he eats sometimes :lol: It changed with him after his numbers started going down everyday but if he got to 110 or over he was hungry or under 60, weird kitties. Still nice and green :smile:

Hmmmm....no answer here but I don't think I'd be overly concerned. I'd just focus on those amazing greens and how close it is getting to one whole week at a low dose!
