I dont understand, after those 2 fairly good days, I am getting 24 hours of "hi"

I did switch food to this Iams canned food that (according to the math) is a better decision.

What am I doing wrong? She should be coming back down again. The other day she got a lick from her brothers food, (he eats the Fancy Feast flavors in the blue can, with LOTS of gravy) and thats what threw her off the other day. However, I have been watching her like a hawk and she didnt get it again.

Why is this happening ?

Hello Laura,
just got off the phone with you....
here's the list.....

shortcut list 8% or less

those iam's have tapioca..... as we talked about just now....
take them back to the store....

it's always a clue when kitties love their food too much.....
must not be a healthy food.....

kind of like a heart smart diet for people.....
if someone tells you no salt, suddenly you want all the salty foods that you aren't supposed to have.....

Looks like she's just bouncing off the 94 from yesterday

Those bounces sure are frustrating!!

How's she doing other than the numbers?

Which specific Iams food are you trying? I looked at a few of their new foods and they look like they might still be too high since they have ingredients like tapioca starch, carrots, rice flour, peas, etc.

Yes, I knew it was too good to be true. This Iams is called Purrfect and "yes", it does have modified tapioca in it. I gave her the rest of the Iams can she had opened from dinner tonight. Should I keep a few cans for those times she is "too low" ???

She will go back to the other stuff (Champion, salmon flavored) in the morning . I just feel bad because its my fault that everything keeps getting stuck in her teeth. I hope to get the money soon to take her to the vet (dentist). She is NOT gonna like going back to the old stuff but, she doesn't have a say in this one :YMSIGH: :YMSIGH:

Thank you everyone, for the heads up.

Goodnight all !!!! :-D

if you can, I'd just take it back and get your money back to buy something else.

Since we don't know the exact carb percentage, we can only say it's too high to be low carb, but whether it's medium carb or high carb, I don't know, so I'd stick with what we know for sure is high carb when you really need it
