OOOOOO this will be such a good day. I am so glad that I found Mannie's frappe recipes. They were in teh the treehouse. he kept everything in the treehouse.... DUH! so. well. anyways. ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and triple shot Cappuccinos with extra foam, made from beans from High in the mountains of Jamaica. And for all my mocha fans: a Venti quad dutch apple infused white mocha, with caramel whip, garnished with caramelized apple clusters, white chocolate shavings and a caramel drizzle...... SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of apple and vanilla and chocolate and caramel swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, sprinkled with crystallized apple nits and a chocolate caramel drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts are along for the ride.

WOO HOO!!!! IT IS FRIDAY FURDAY! :-D :-D :-D I hope everyone had a great day yesterday. We did well here, it was a family day, and I think we all enjoyed the time spent. it is always so nice to see William, and see how much he has grown and developed. What a treat. We didn't make a river as Nicholas and I normally would do on a Thursday, but what we did do was alot of fun for us all. Here is what I wrote in last night's post: "Hi Everyone! I hope your day has been a good one. We had a family day here at home. My DD Erin brought up the boys, William and Nicholas, just to hang out for a while and take in the beach later in the morning. We made pancakes in the morning, with lots of bacon, and some blackberries. Major yum,per Nicholas. It was such a nice day here today that we spent a little time out in the yard after breffis so Nicholas could explore a part of the yard that he has named his "jungle". There is this space behind some Rhody's and the in front of the fence plants - those plants create this pocket of space. It is now Nicholas's jungle. Really major fun for him. He had lunch after that - burger and fries and a shake (yes, he ate all that! ) Even more major FUN. We spent the rest of the day at the beach. The tide was out enough that there was lots of sand for him to play in.Temps were warm enough too that he could run in the surf too. What a great time! LOL: William slept through the whole thing.... There is a small creek that runs down to the beach too, so of course he was out and in that too. And..... "No Mommie, no grammie, I am NOT TIRED. NO NAP!!!!"and so it was....no nap.I will laugh though: the minute he gets in his car seat to go home, sound asleep...... Zonked! and still covered in sand and specs of seaweed. yes, a great day I would say. Rest well Nicholas!" Picassa link to the photos and videos: A Day in the Life of Nicholas....

Normalcy in MusketeerVille!   Elsa has been doing well for a 17 yr old gal.I need to make her appt for her annual SR wellness checkup with the vetty. She's due this month. I hope all will be well with her, and I really don't have any reason to suspect otherwise. She acts and looks great. Bug is due for a vetty trip too, as I still need to get a cardio workup done for him. When we adopted him we were told he does have a heart murmur, confirmed when he was initially checked by my regular vet. I suspect that it isn't an issue for him, as he too seems fine. I will take him though, just to get that baseline set. It would be nice to make sure all is as well as I think it is. So.... gotta do that this month too, and stop procrastinating. and then there is Lola: no vetty needs for her! She continues to be LOLA: energized craziness, coupled with such cuddles. Yesterday she dug up the same house plant three times! and I replanted it three times!!  She got "the lecture" three times. and I vacuumed three times, as dirt was flung everywher!   After each one she comes over and curls up on my lap and purrs. you gotta love it. Never a dull moment with that one. She is so fun. :-D

Have a great day everyone. It is another Nicholas day today. I and the energizer FISH will be at the pool in the morning. Wet fun awaits us! I suspect we will embark on yet another berry hunt after the pool.... YUM! Major sweet and tasty and juicy berries to be found and eaten. EXCELLENT! I will try and get to condos when I can. :-D

KITTIES! Remember: think BLUE, think GREEN!!

Enjoy your pics and videos of the adventures you and N share. Have a great day. You are the energizer bunny keeping up with an active 2 1/2 year old. Creating memories he will never forget.

Hi Barbara - many thanks! I do enjoy the varied personalities of the kitties here - it has proven to be a good mix. They all accept each other, accommodate each other, talk each other in mischief. See ya soon! ~~ Elsa, PIT, lovin' the new jet too.

Hi everyone! I almost forgot the afternoon update! Nicholas and I did make it to the pool as planned today. He was so determined that that was the plan of action, A bug DUH from his grammie. SO off we went, for wet fun times. I think he did everything there that he could do, short of the big pool. He was adventurous today, and took on the big buckets all on his own. That was alot of fun. They are on this pole that goes up probably 15 feet, has five buckets that extend out maybe five feet in a circle pattern. They fill with water, and when full dump their contents on whomever is standing underneath them. He's been leery of that for along time. not today. Under he went several times, came out laughing after each dump. What a hoot! We did the normal trail walk after the pool, still being able to find lots of blackberries. There are alot left to pick. Phew! The supply looks like it will get him through the end of August at least. nice too that they all aren't ripening all at once! I will post the Picassa link in tomorrow's condo.

Have a great evening everyone!

Hi Michelle, sounds like a busy day in the life of Nicholas and glad to see some normalcy in Muketeerville. I'm just catching up on yesterday, and I see now you are back from today's adventure. :-D I knew Elsa was a senior but did not realize she was 17. I hope all goes well when she has her Vetty visit. Oh yes, you mentioned the heart murmur with Bug and getting it checked out. I hope it isn't an issue. Those are great pics of Nicholas, Erin and William. Little William is so cute and love his little expressions. It looks like it was a great beach day. Wow on all that food Nicholas is eating. Now I know where he gets his tradename "Energizer Fish." I will go back and watch the videos. So many great pics today.
Hey Elsa, thanks you for the coffee and the Triple Espresso Capps. lsa brought me three pizzas with extra cheese, lots of mushrooms and black olives, They are the best.

It looks like Nicholas had a blast in those pictures from yesterday. It sounds like another great pool day. I hope everything goes well with the vetty visits for Elsa and Bug.

What some great photos!!!!! well, as per usual, but they are always SUCH GOOD FUN!! Hey!!!! I love that sink! Anything that a small child can play in is just perfect!!
Many hugs to you and your family.. thanks for all the grins!!!

Yesterday she dug up the same house plant three times! and I replanted it three times!!  She got "the lecture" three times. and I vacuumed three times, as dirt was flung everywher!

I think it was Einstein who defined "insanity" as doing the same thing over and over, and expecting different results  !

It sounds like you had such a wonderful day yesterday with both boys, even though the wee one slept :-D !I totally understand the procrastinating of vetty visits, but all is well with your crowd, so I'm sure once you get there, it will be nothing but good news.

Have a great evening, Michelle!

Good Evening, Michelle,

What a great day yesterday and today. The pics are wonderful. I love it that Nicholas has his "Jungle". My friends and I had "The Jungle" too, but we were a little older and used to swing on the vines in this large, overgrown area, build forts, etc. etc. (there was a great deal of vacant land on Long Island in those days).

Too much with Lola and the plant  . The poor plant! Maybe you need an artificial decoy plant (in real soil)?? Did I ever tell you that our avocado (whose name is "Pit") is 40 years old? Lola would meet her match in Pit!

Good luck at the vetty bean. Elsa looks great. I hope her check-up will go well and easily. Ditto for Bug's.

Have a fine weekend,

Ella & Rusty

p.s. to Elsa: that triple shot was exquisite this morning. Rusty is waiting for you to pick him and the Kitchen Krew up in the jet. He's posted the fuds for Maui's weekend house party in his condo. Paw Prints Pizza has a lot of cookin' to do at the party.

HI All! Happy friday night!

That is more than true. I kept telling myself: this is nuts! THX on yesterday, it was a good time, even with one out for nap.I hope so, think so too on the vetty visits. All should be good.

Hi Mary - THX on the pics! It's nice to think folks see what I see when I take them: GOOD FUN! Wasn't the sin a kick? It worked, and he was as happy as he could be - he had fun with it, and got clean in the process. THX for the hugs, I shall dispense them. I am grateful for the grins.

Hi Carla - THX, he really did. He loves the water anyways, but ti play in the surf like that was just a blast for him. THX on eh vetty visits - I do too! Now i just need to schedule them! ;-)

Hi Ann - oh yes on the busy day. he just keeps going and going and going. Yes on Elsa, she is a senior for sure, though I have to remind my elf of that fact, as she really doesn't act like one. She's not running around chasing things anymore, but still is active. THX on Bug, I hope so too. Gotta get it done so we know for sure. ;-) THX on yesterday, and the photos. It was so much fun! THX too for looking at it all. :-D
Auntie Ann - You are so welcomes! I can bring you more to,. Paw Prints Pizza is delighted that the pizzas were mega good. I like the extra cheese part... YUM! ~~ Elsa, Lil BIT, kitteh barista

Hi Ella - THX on yesterday, and the pics. We all had such a god time at the beach. I was so glad that the tides were out enough that the sandy part was exposed. That made all the difference in the world. Very cool on your jungle - I LOVE that! This space isn't quite that big, but he can do things in there, so good to go. Plus he loves it. His little hidey place. I so agree on that poor plant! What a joke... oh wow on your avocado plant. that is cool - 40 years? amazing! and yes, Lola would meet her match with PIT. Pit I think would win. :-D THX on the vetty stuff. I should have them there and done in a couple of weeks, maybe sooner. I so need to get this done! ;-)
