Good Morning LL. DH here. We hope everyone is doing well this morning.

Marjorie was up and out early this morning with her friend from the San Diego office. She made Indian food, curry vegetables and rice and some kind of yogurt thing last night. Marje said it was wonderful. Her friend loves to cook and just took over the kitchen and whipped it all up from scratch. I'm not much of a curry fan, so I finished off the leftover cat food.

Gracie is happy and purry this morning. All the appropriate P's were accomplished. We were a little surprised she was in pink this morning as it looked like she was flattening out in yellow at last poke last night. Starting down nicely at +2. She had a great AM cycle yesterday, but I think the 40 guaranteed the bounce. We may need to feed her higher carbs for all her meals on this dose. Still tinkering.

Teddi is a little under the weather this morning. She has some acne going on on her chin, with a pretty big lump in one spot. The vet gave her some clavomox to make it go down, and she did some projectile pukus this morning. she was on the same stuff after her dental a few weeks ago and had no trouble with it. This time not so much. We stopped it and waiting to hear from the vet about an alternative. We have been doing warm compresses and scrubbing with surgical soap. This has worked to clear it up in the past, and we may just have to keep doing only that.

:lol: What flavor of cat food did you have? :lol: Indian is yummy, but curry is definitely something you either like or don't.

Gracie is coming down nicely for you. She just had to get your attention somehow.

Poor Teddi! Hope she gets to feeling better fast.

Hi!!! Moonie always got feline acne--We used Clavamox & an antibacterial called Hibiclens--just a drop on a wet cloth, with the Clavamox, and it clears right up--I still check her for it--It is not comfortable for them...
Hope Teddi feels better soon!--Just keep it clean & feed Teddi in Glass dishes they get acne from bacteria off plastic dishes, & Moonie even got ot off stainless steel--We use glass now--

It looks like the girls are hanging out in those "girly colors" again. :YMSIGH: Sorry to hear about Teddi, send los of feel better vines.

DH here - Roni- All the kitties eat off glazed pottery plates and drink from porcelain bowls. No plastic for our prima donnas and dons. The vet gave us clavomox pills because the lump is closed. We may switch to the ointment since she doesn't seem to be tolerating the pills this time. I'm assuming its the clavomox, as thats the only thing that has changed since yesterday, and yesterday she was fine. She seems hungry but turns her nose up at cat food. I got her to eat a little baby food. She is drinking a lot of water too. Always worry about that with her kidney issues.

Melissa/Julie - it was a real smorgasbord for me, a little Wellness, some Earthborn, and some Natural Balance venison and green peas. My coat is very shiny today :-D

:lol: :lol: You might want to throw in a little of the Merrick's Grammy's Pot Pie in there to round things out!

I hope Teddi feels better soon, poor baby! It looks like Gracie is coming down.

I just looked at Gracie's SS so I see where's she headed....blah!!!! Here's hoping tonight's cycle will be better!!

Well, Gracie's numbers are not so good to write home about...but you DH, well...glad to hear you enjoyed your chow last night and that your coat is nice a shiny today. I bet you are purring around the house too! You are TOO funny! :lol:

Maybe Teddi would like the curry; it looks like Mike is hogging her cat food! Hope she's feeling better soon.
And Gracie, a repeat of yesterday's A.M. cycle would be really nice!

Okay, Miss Gracie... lets see some better numbers tonight! Just because there's no party, doesn't mean you and Tess should be in these yellow and pink dresses today!!

Hi everyone. I'm so glad my darling DH has kept the condo entertaining :lol: :lol: It's very funny about feeding the curry to Teddi because she had some pukus this morning and he told me he smelled curry and wondered if she had gotten into it but there was no way....I think it was just residual from our dinner last night (well, mine and Shanti's...not his).

Long day at work and just finished dinner. I'm up for about 45 mins and then headed to bed. Gracie got a dip but not sure what she plans to do with it.

I miss you all; still have two more days for Shanti to be here...she said she is here to do a "mind meld" :lol: :lol: :lol: Very sweet young woman and what a go-getter. And COOK!!! OMG...that meal she made last night (which we had at lunch today, too) was delicious.

I'll have to wait to catch up until Friday. I'm sorry but days are just too long and tiring and the evenings are my only time with my sweet and wonderful husband...even if he does have cat fud on his breath. :lol: :lol:
