Good Morning LL Members
Gobbles is his usual nutrasweet self. He tested 60 this morning (+2112  ), one-hour post feeding. His weight this morning was 13.0; he's lost a little weight but then has been on a diet--a week ago he weighed in at 13.2, and two weeks ago, 13.6.
Unfortunately, I found a small lump/nodule on his right hip the other day  I thought I'd give it a day or two, but as of this morning, it is still there. He has a vet appointment tomorrow morning (I don't know what vet will do, short of a visual examination).
The lump/nodule seems to be kind of egg-shaped and convex. The size is approximately 1/2 inch x 3/8 inch. There is one tiny area on his skin (where lump/nodule is) that is slightly pink. The lump/nodule is somewhat hard and I think it hurts when prodded as he trying to swat me when I examined it, and doesn't want that area brushed. ETA: However, when I shaved the area, he didn't flinch...
He had great labwork results last month, with the exception of slightly elevated cholesterol and triglycerides (although lower than his bloodwork in April).
He does go outside (on a harness) and free ranges in the garage when the door is closed. I'm thinking maybe he got bit by something...trying to keep the "C" word out of my mind.
Any thoughts, opinions, experience will surely be appreciated.
I am very worried about him.
