Morning ~O) everyone....

woke up early early this morning ( 4am  ) and got up for a while.... (worrying about my dd getting married so young/empty nest/etc)
hadn't gotten a test in the early hours in quite a while so I grabbed one... and Shadow was 101 at what would be something like her +11 time frame...
checked again 30 minutes later... and she was 93.... (whew, not going up)
That seems more like her normal to me.... for those of you who know her history.
I've just been catching so many 70/80's for the last few weeks yet I know something isn't "normal".
Her new place to hang out is under our formal dining room table... I moved a rug from a bedroom under the table and now she stays there ... a lot.
I also think her urine output is up since her litter box has a reservoir for samples...
It's been fuller as of late yet she's not drinking water ... still...
Maybe I'm adding a teaspoon more in her food per meal..... it's hard to say since I don't measure it, just guesstimate. I'll try to pay attention to see if I'm the reason for her
seemingly increased output.

She did get her adequan shot Monday altho' it was less than the dose amount. And I'm really happy they are releasing the supply soon. I don't think we would have made it past Oct.

Thinking of Carl/Mullet and Ann/Maggie and Jamie and Jupiter trying to heal that foot.... and breathing vines for Tarragon.

Hi Rhiannon,
You know Shadow best, so you're the most attuned to her normal. It's always best to be pro-active. Still, I hope it's nothing, just a little extra bean worry.
Many hugs and scritches to you.
xoxo mary and ollie

It sounds like Shadow is doing well. It's funny how cats will change their spots. How is your elbow? Is the bump completely gone from the spider bite?

I always laugh when a vet tells us to keep an eye on Zener. I think Shadow gets the same attention from you, watching her like a hawk for anything amiss. I hope it's just Shadow being a cat and nothing truly amiss.

Hey Rhiannon - sorry you didn't sleep well. I have that problem too - mind is always going and it keeps me up. Hope you got a nap today!! I'd be a mess if I had to get up and stay up at 4:00am.

Hoping Shadow is acting weird like cats do!

Hope you guys have a great night!

Hi, Rhiannon, I'm glad your elbow is feeling ok again :-D .
Hugs to you and your Shadow ~ I hope her 'new normal' turns out to be, well, just normal.
Take care!

Hi Rhiannon,
Sometimes changes in behavior are seasonal. Rusty hasn't slept in his little bed in over a month. Kitties do things for their own reasons. I hope Shadow feels "normal". Are you feeding the same foods?

Glad your spider bite is better!

Hugs & scritches,

Ella & Rusty

Thanks for your visits to Rusty's condo.

It would be too easy if they were predictable, wouldn't it? I hope Shadow isn't up to some new tricks and she settles back down. I'm sure you'll be the first to know! Glad your spider bite is squishy? I hope that means it's not as troublesome :thumbup

Hi Rhiannon,
Maybe Shadow is reacting to you worrying about your DD?
We worry about every little thing our kitties do differently than normal, but if they can talk they would say the same thing right back to us.
They are so sensitive to changes in our behavior or mood too!!
I hope it's nothing to worry about, and it's just her new version of normal.

Hi there, how you doing? Glad shadow came down for you,Lucky sometimes goes back and climbs in his cage that is where he went when he didn't want to be bothered, now he just goes there funny. Hope it's just being mom about the worries...

Morning Rhiannon,
nice report on Shadow. She's a very lucky kitty indeed, as if there's any small change, you're right on top of it. The sleep thing has always been an issue with me, too. Glad your elbow is better and sending extra healing vines. I wish the best for your DD.

Thanks for your kind words of condolence to me in Maggie's at the Bridge condo and for the beautiful candle. All your messages are really helping ith the healing. It is hard to believe Maggie gone four days, but she's pain free and loving to show off her green kini and cliff dives.
Hugs to you and scritches for Shadow.

I'm glad to hear Shadow's numbers are in a more comfortable range...more like her normals. It is a big relief that the Adequan is being released....it helps so many kitties feel better. I've also got that worrier's insomnia things...people like us LLer folks are just so aware of every little nuance with our kitties, it just keeps our minds working in overdrive. Sending calming vines your way!!
